Pretty Darn Nice Cutter!
I've used a $15 Ravioli cutter in the past. It was a pain because the dough would clog the cutter after each cut. The La Gondola Cutter has an open design to its crimper cutter that does not clog. It makes a more pronounced saw tooth cut than other cutters which I find more satisfying. Both the rotello and straight blades are very sharp. The main part of this dual cutter is 100% brass and parts are machined well (not stamped) The wooden handle is nicely shaped and has a thin finish on it. This is a quality tool and well worth the higher price. You get what you pay for. I love it.

Solid and Well Built
Solid well built pasta cutter. I purchased this for an assignment in culinary school (Angolotti del Plin) and was impressed with its craftsmanship from the moment I picked it up. Even my chef instructor was impressed with the quality and said he has never held such a solid pasta cutter. These might not be the least expensive pasta cutter; however, when you hold and use it—you know exactly why. Worth every penny.

Loved it immediately!
It is so heavy and well made out of brass. It’s sharp and just glides along to cut the pasta and dough so easily…like butter! We were so impressed. Cleaning was very easy. We have used it for making pasta and pie crust so far. My granddaughters would like to use it for play dough but that’s not happening! 😂 Spend the extra money and choose this cutter over the cheaper ones. It’s worth it.

It really works.
Finally, a pasta cutter that actually works. A beautiful sharp tool, unlike the cheaper ones I've tried and given up on. Worth every penny!

The wood handle gives me splinters
The wood handle gives me splinters. Too bad it's not coated with a varathane to seal it. Otherwise a nice and sturdy product with beautiful zig zag cuts. Not worth the money though.

Excellent quality, very well made albeit quite expensive. Be careful with the description. I thought I had ordered the double wheeled model but it was just the single straight cutter.

Sehr, sehr teuer.
