It fits perfectly with the hoover I have. It is a bit tight to separate the filter and the mesh cylinder. New filter has slightly improved the suction. It is slightly pricy considering the cost of the Hoover when I bought it. But this vacuum cleaners has powerful suction.

When you need a filter.......
The filter arrived promptly and was well packaged. As a genuine spare it fits perfectly, but more importantly it was badly needed as the current filter was nearly impossible to clean quickly. I now have the old one washed thoroughly and kept as a spare. Extremely satisfied.
