Perfect for spotlight in landscape
We recently purchased this landscape spotlight based on our landscaper's recommendation, and it has truly impressed us! Setting it up and wiring it to our transformer was a breeze—thanks to its user-friendly design, we had it up and running in no time. The spotlight itself not only looks great but also performs exceptionally well. It effectively lights up the designated area, highlighting our landscaping features beautifully. Whether it’s illuminating a tree, a garden bed, or a pathway, the light is just right—neither too harsh nor too dim.The build quality is evident, with durable materials that promise longevity and weather resistance. It’s clear that this spotlight is built to withstand the elements while enhancing the overall aesthetics of our outdoor space.

Perfect spotlights for up lighting
We have 4 in the front and 5 in the backyard. These spotlights are perfect. We use them year round as white lights for all our palms, and then change them out for colored bulbs for the holidays. The are quality lights, good size, sleek look and easy to install.

Good Value: Two Metal Spotlights with Replaceable LED Lamps for Under $50!
I installed four of these 12 volt spotlights to uplight the front of our house. The shadowing looks great; It adds a bit of drama to the overall lighting. The lights' bodies are metal construction and feel rugged. The glass lens assembly screws on, with a rubber O-ring for a water resistant fit.The ground stake is made of plastic, which is obviously a cost saving thing. Not thrilled about the plastic, but the low price makes up for it.I prefer 2700K color lighting, so I swapped out the included 3000K bulbs. The color hue difference is subtle, but since MR16 LED bulbs don't cost much I decided to do it. I paid $19 on Amazon for box of six 4W 2700K bulbs.Don't forget that you will need a 12V AC or DC landscape lighting transformer to power these "low voltage" lights. The included lamps are rated 4-watts (12 Volts @ 0.33 Amps each), so pick a transformer that will handle the combined wattage of ALL your lights, plus at least 25% extra wattage to prevent overloads.Lastly, I used 12AWG and 14AWG landscape lighting wire and buried it at least 8 inches deep. Both are heavy gauge wire that avoids voltage drop on long runs. And their thick insulation protects against minor garden shovel accidents when planting flowers.Pros: Low cost, metal construction, simple installation, replaceable MR16 style LED bulb.Cons: Nothing major, has plastic ground stake.

Great lights and I found a way to diffuse them !!
The lights are perfect, but the two at the roof edges were too bright because the painted surface was too reflective. So I took empty gal plastic milk jugs and cut 3 disks per light following the screw lid of the light as a guide , as you can see an excellent result and the led lamps don’t seem to give off any heat so this was the best solution I could find and I think it came out wonderfully.I also made special roof brackets at work as you can see , painted them brown to match and bend them to slide under the shingles.

Cost effective upgrade
I replaced my old floodlights with these spotlights. These have a narrower beam than the old lights and look great illuminating the exterior of my house. I ordered 6x units and all worked perfectly. They appear well constructed. Each lamp drew 0.3A so about 3.5W @12v. The MR16 LEDs were 3000K. I would have preferred 2700K but they look good and are very bright so I am happy with the end result.I will be buying more!

Excellent value - advice on wire nuts included in review
I just purchased my third box of these. I love them! The only suggestion is that the wire nuts that come with are for outdoor use. they seem to have a little more of a loose grip than I prefer. I just buy regular wire nuts and wrap them with the weatherproof electrical tape (a lot of it!) for a secure, water/weather proof hold. These lights are nice and bright and handle the elements well --even including an occasional bump from the outdoor basketball court.

Solid
I had them for 6 months now through one North East winter and rainy spring, no issue with leaks. The material is thick and seems well made.
