The use I have for this is well underutilized. I use it to keep the freezer door closed. So I'm not really have any pressure on the item. But it work very well for me. This is the 2nd one I bought. (Purchase a 2nd freezer) these new freezers, just dont feel the magnet seal on them when you open it. So I use these to keep it closed. We did lose a freezer of meat one night, don't know if something inside fell against the door, or we didn't close it good enough. But this solved that.

Well made, I used them for holding rear door on a mini excavator.

so far so good install was a breeze, if they stand up to the test of time. They seem very strong so I think they will. the last photo is the mini, they turned out to be too small for the job and, the design is best for a jeep hood style application on the mini, eg: the longer pc w/ the rubber strap faces down to the fender and the catch bracket mounts on the vertical incline of the hood.

These thing are pretty standard, which isn’t a bad thing, good product for the price

I used these to replace some hood catches that we long gone. The mounting hole pattern was different than the original ones (most likely different manufacturers) so I had to use one of the original holes and drill the others. The rubber is thick and slightly stiff but I would rather have that in the beginning then flimsy and soft for this kind of hood catch. The mounting hardware looks like it is zinc plated so should stand up to outside elements OK.

The tack door on my horse trailer wouldn't stay closed, so I installed a pair of these using rivets and they work great.

Product is 4 and 7/8 inches long and a little over 1" wide at the top, NOT 4" long X 7/8" wide at the top. Measure carefully. Cost of returning them was too great. Ate the loss.

Purchased this to add latches to my cooler. No hardware, but that's ok because I needed to use specific screws that were short enough.
