I spent a while looking for the perfect bug set for my 2.5 year old girl. I wanted them to be realistic, not too small and not too many (who needs 50 bugs at home?!). I didn’t care much for the ring thing so I threw those out. My toddler LOVES them and has spent hours playing with them, looking at them with the magnifying glass, putting them in her little boon grass garden. Good bang for your buck. One thing I will mention, each bug was individually packaged in its own plastic bag and I got 6 magnifying glasses, also individually packaged. Not great for the environment.

My 3 years old son loves it. It's very realistic and the size of the bugs isn't too small. Good toy for preschoolers.

Well it’s bugs , bugs, bugs !!They are life sized if it’s a LARGE bee , fly etcetcThey can stand alone as an item of fun ......................or an item to scare / surprise others. LoL kids will be kidsThey can be put on a circle w/ a stand up piece that fits the bug 🐜 and it’s now a ring OR for mischievous ones that ring can be put in MANY places to evoke laughter or screamsKids are enjoying them .........Lotsa fun over here ........3 -12 yr olds finding lotsa uses for themFor all I know at the dinner table they’ll be throwing them up the air and catching them in their mouth pretending that’s what they’re eating LOLI do like these because although at first I thought these are cheesy they actually are a lot of fun and the kids are creating all sorts of things to do with them !!!Kids minds are amazing !Sooooo, I have to give them a thumbs up.The only reason I don’t put a five star is because some people may not think it’s all that funny or fun. And also sometimes it’s a little bit hard to put it together as a ring but somebody’s always able to work it out !A BIG PS for some kids ............ we have one who is amazed at the magnifying glass. He has been playing with the bugs and JUST discovered the magnifying glass. He is enthralled by it !! Too funny and cuteHope this helps you make your decision !!

Nice although very pricey for what you get.

My 3yr old grandson is obsessed with insects - thought this set would be fun for him. Concept is great, delivery is not so great. The insects themselves are great but the packaging is weird & wasteful - each insect is packaged separately and it also makes it look cheap, like a birthday party favor. Then you have to put the insect on the ring - there is no way a child could assemble these by themselves. I can guarantee that these will be broken in no time. I knew the magnifying glass would be cheap, but it is really cheap and there are 6 of them, again making it feel like it’s more of a party favor then a set.

My son is obsessed with bugs and this was the best purchase I've made for him in a while. He loves all of the bugs and loves looking at them with the magnifying glass.

All items reflected the pictures exactly and were life-sized. They were perfect for my daughter's school diorama.

These were disappointing and I'm tempted to return them. We ended up getting two lady birds instead of the butterfly which we wanted. They're realistic looking, but not worth what they cost.
