36w Led Red Light Therapy Bulbs 660nm Red and 850nm Near Infrared Therapy, Muscle & Joint Pain Relief Recovery, Skin Rejuvenation

Do a search for "The Ultimate Guide to Red Light Therapy" If you want to get the idea of what this is all about. "Researchers have found that one specific mechanism of near-infrared and red light therapy is that these wavelengths of light are able to penetrate into cells and activate the mitochondria, directly leading to increased cellular energy production..." Fascinating stuff, to say the least. RLT is heavily researched and there is a lot of good information out there for those willing to put in a little work.This Therapy Bulb is rated at 36w. There are more powerful bulbs on Amazon--in addition to this one I have 48 and 52 watt bulbs. Power is very important in RLT; too weak of a light source cannot penetrate deeply enough to do any good, no matter how long you leave it in place. The more powerful bulbs I mentioned need to be used around 6-12" from the skin; this one can actually be placed directly on the body for brief periods, and that is quite useful in treating isolated areas. I use it in body contact with specific problem areas while watching TV or other mindless activity--the light from this bulb can penetrate through the hand, so you know it is working. To get further benefits out of it one would need two or more of them--a combination of more and less powerful bulbs is ideal-- and mount them on stands or other extension devices and then direct the light onto larger areas of the body. This is a very inexpensive way to build and use your own RLT system. You do need some guidance on RLT use, and the above mentioned book is the best place to start. And don't overdo it--shorter sessions are best. Too much RLT is the equivalent of sunburn, and the results can become negative quickly.This is a well built bulb, comes with a power cable and, again, is of the power class that enables it to be used hand held. Start with this one and then think about building a system including the more powerful bulbs. Do your research and remember that in the end not everyone benefits the same from RLT, but you won't know until you give it an honest attempt.

Well packed. Arrived in excellent condition. Does not generate too much heat, just a gentle warming. I wondered about the light that look like they are not on, but I read the instructions and asked a friend who also uses red light therapy and I was told the bulbs are on, but we cannot see the light emitted. So far, this is working fine. I am using it for my lower back and trying neck exposure for hypothyroid. I also used it on my kitty' when his front paw went limp and I believe it helped him recover about 80% use of it again.

I used this 2 times a day for half month as directed. I found this to be a good thing. It does help minimize wrinkles and gives your skin a rosy, healthy complexion and refines the pores. I’m very pleased with this purchase and look forward to the benefits that will continue to enhance our skin health.

I bought this to use on my face for acne. The person that recommended said the closer you get the better, however I learned it will tan when too close to the skin. I am pleased with the results, it does help quite a bit but it needs at least 10 minutes every other day at a minimum. This particular one does come with the cord. A stand of some sort would be helpful as holding it gets awkward.

The first one I received work for a while, which is where the IR LEDs shine with a white light and the red LEDs with red. Then the IR circuit died. I am on my third replacement, and they arrived with a dead IR circuit. The IR LEDs are not invisible; they shine with a visible light.

I really enjoy this product. Also what I did not expect was the eye shield googles that were included! I cannot verify the light power output of the device but it does work.

6 of the lights in the bulb quit working after several weeks.

Not sure if this light is even working - no sign of pain relief AND no mention anywhere in the pamphlet that it is actually Near Infrared 660nm to 850nm. Should have some indication confirming the technical specs

Good package, cord switch and light. Doesn’t seem to have any health benefits. Lights up red, that’s it as far as I can tell.

Works great came with the cord for plugging in which was unexpected and very welcome. I have felt a difference in my skin texture and colour, using it on my face. Thanks for making a great product.
