From Egg to Chicken (Lifecycles) Paperback – January 1, 1998

I read this during farm week at camp and it was perfect. Easy to see, clear pictures and I made a list of questions based on a chart in the back of the book. The kids used the chart to answer the questions - very good activity and book.

We Loved the book and it would have been very helpful if the book had been delivered in a timely manner.We were in the process of hatching eggs in our pre- school room and seeing this life- cycle would have been interesting.Unfortunately, book ordered April 20 eggs Hatched April 25th.. and the book arrived MAY !0

This book was the perfect book to read to my first graders as we hatched baby chicks for a local farmer in our classroom incubator. It was well illustrated, informative and the correct level for first graders. It is a very useful book for teaching the lifecycle of chickens. I would certainly add it to any classroom library or science reference books for young children. They will learn proper terms and many interesting details about chicks from egg to adulthood.

Since our school was getting some chicks for hatching, this book was so helpful to explain all the stages of the cycle. The children enjoyed looking at the book and re-reading it after we observed the eggs.

The kids in my class are anxiously awaiting for live chicks from the incubator, we have used this book to show the children how they are developing...love it!

pre-schoolers really enjoyed pictures and explanation as we go thru life cycles. Need more books like this.Great detail on how it all comes together

I loved how I had ordered 2 books one was for older kids and the other for younger. I was happy I ordered this book and the other one.
