Kansas Jayhawks ABCs and 1-2-3s Board book – November 15, 2011

I purchased this as a gift for a KU graduate expecting a new baby. I am an MU grad - yes, I am and I love this book. It is so much fun and perfect for any child in a KU family. I highly recommend this book for grandparents to give to their grandchildren, for KU supportive businesses to have in a play area, or for you to have for your own child.The alphabet was really fun to read and to get an education while learning your ABC's. I had to go around and ask what Oread was (Mount Oread, a hill in Lawrence, KS). I especially loved the sound bites with the Rockchalk chants. It was the hit of the baby shower. If you are a KU grad with kids or grandkids, you've absolutely got to have this book. I wish the author did books for other teams, as in Mizzou (Go Tigers).

Book is in good condition except the sound button does not work properly. It will start to play sound and then stop. I have not tried to replace the battery yet, as I’ll have to go to the store and purchase the correct one. The item did not arrive functioning as I believed it would.

I ordered this book for Jayhawk fans who recently became parents. The recipients loved the book, and can't wait until their little one is old enough to read it. The book is brightly illustrated and clever. I'm not a sports fan, in particular, but think this is a very clever and fun idea.

I ordered this for my two-year-old grandson. He is familiar with the Jayhawk, so he took right to this book. He looks at the pictures and plays the sounds. If you are a KU fan, this is a great item/gift for the child in your life! Rock chalk, Jayhawk, KU!

Great book for kids

I love this book but if your wanting a bedtime book its a little loud, not the most calming noise, It gets me pumped up every time I hear the Chant. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK KU.
