I have a very bad habit of using my noise cancelling headphones at work only to scream VERY loudly when someone walks up behind me at my desk and taps me on the shoulder. Some in my office have even turned my extreme startle condition into a sport… “Let’s see who can make her scream the loudest.” When the last episode elicited my unplanned act of fight/flight that included a few four letter words that were heard on the other side of building, I knew for professionalism sake, I needed to take action. (For the record a few people fainted at my outburst, but I may or may not have been asked out on a date as well. That’s a story for another time.) This mirror was my answer. Now I can see those sneaky folks before they can get close enough to lay a finger on me. Mwwwwaaaahhhhaaaa! (That was my evil maniacal laugh. Typing does it no justice, you must hear it in person.) So, no more screaming obscenities and my professional nature is once again intact. Well…for the most part. The mirror is easily adjustable and as you can see from the pic, clips easily to my monitor. The only down side? It's bigger than I thought. Sometimes I catch a glimpse of the tired bags under my eyes and it makes me cry. Then people come over to check on me. My coworkers are nice like that. The good news? I can use the mirror to reapply my makeup. Also, if you are in the market for noise cancelling headphones that are $15, check my other review. Best $15 I evah spent! For those of you who sit in a cubical all day with your back to the entrance of your space, you know how frustrating it can be when you're interrupted by someone passing giving you a piece of info or just saying, "hi". After you've been startled, you crane your neck around and they've already passed and you've missed who was speaking to you. This product helps immensely and saves me time and some distractions. I don't have to jump up and look down the hall to see who was asking for that report that I'm in the middle of finishing. It also helps from getting startled as frequently as before. For those of you goodie-two-shoes who have tried to make out that people who buy desk mirrors are somehow goofing off, you must not be busy enough or reliable enough to have people frequently stopping in to ask you for help. This mirror is large, but not HUGE! it's a prefect size to see everything behind me. It is well made and it's one of the most valuable items in my cube! I highly recommend it!

I bought this for my cubicle since I no longer face the opening. I listen to music with my earbuds while working and had a couple coworkers catch me unaware when they walked up behind me. The mirror is large and I can see my door and the whole cubicle in it. I clipped it onto my monitor for a while but the clip is very strong. You have to be careful and make sure you are not leaving pressure marks in the screen. I now have it clipped to my wall. It's more stable where it is now. The mirror is adjustable and gravity doesn't pull it away from the position you pick over time. I haven't had to keep readjusting it as I have others.

I read some of the other reviews and thought it can't be that big. It is. I put it on my desk at home. I would be way to embarrassed to put this on work computer. Otherwise it does the job admirably. Just can't use it where I wanted to. I ordered another mirror off Amazon and it works great and is unobtrusive.

I read a lot of the reviews on this one before buying. I sawr where several people were surprised by the size of the mirror. They even mentioned that they had read the dimensions in the listing, but it simply didn't register with them how big 7" in diameter would be once you had the mirror in hand. They are not lying, lol. I have this thing deployed now & it's just about as big as my head! It's kinda funny how big it looks (see photo I took of it at my desk). Size of the mirror notwithstanding, it's a great purchase, especially for the price! The mirror is a bit convex, but it does not show some distorted fish-eye reflection. It's a high quality mirror surface in which you can see EVERYTHING very clearly, lol. The clip is very sturdy and the flexible bar to position it is as well. I feel like I could pick up the monitor and shake it & the mirror would remain attached and in the same place in which I had originally positioned it.

So, it's been said by every review, but yes, this thing is big. The pictures of people having this mounted to their monitors are honestly comical. I had originally bought a smaller (2.5" x 3") monitor mirror which would've worked perfectly... BUT the problem is that I have a somewhat unusual setup. Most people probably have walls surrounding themselves at their office for 3 sides: 2 sides + front, but the opening is directly behind them. If that's your case, I'm sure a monitor mirror (I picked the top result for "monitor mirror") would be perfect as all you really need is to be able to glance and see directly behind you. My problem is that I have my blind spot to my left. In addition, I have a cabinet to my left that prevents easy viewing access. So, this device works perfectly as I mounted it on a small cubicle wall (clamps work great) that's about 7 feet in front of me and have it angled to out to my left. THAT is really what this is designed for. It should be noted that it didn't look like the clamp was big enough to clamp onto my desk (its too thick) but that's fine for me. If you need something big and don't mind having the bevel around it as well, this should work great. If you don't need something that big, then go with a monitor mirror.

Well manufactured mirror with clip stand. Just a warning this is a fairly large mirror, large then I even expected. It has a circular radius of almost 10cm, so ensure a large mirror is what you are wanting. It is made out of quality materials, and assembled with care. For the price I would highly reccomend.

HUGE! Not suitable for an office

I bought this mirror because the way my cubicle is situated, people would always come to the entrance and scare the crap out of me. I like the size of it because I have it set up a bit behind my monitor so given the distance, the size is perfect and I wouldn't want to go any smaller. I took one star away because the clip is too big to put on a monitor and the "spring" in the arm does not move out stay fixed as well as if have liked which made positioning it rather difficult. I ended up clipping it to my cubicle wall, which suits me but others may not like this.

Quality is awsome but I had to return since it is HUGE! Was looking for a more discreet mirror to attach on my computer screen!

I put it into my garage, so I can park more easily into my tight garage. Good size and I can mount it easily on a shelf.
