the Chase
A wonderful story that was both exciting and fun! It is a definite must read book. Although,I would like to know what happened to the Scottish guy at the end of the story.

Two plots, and a full twist!
Moves well, reads well, and pleads for the next adventure!Evanovich, Goldberg, O'Hare and Fox -- fun foliage amongst the dull ordinaries. Great series, characters and action. Incredible series! These are the, "I gotta reads!"

A fun and quick read
I think the main thing harming this book was the reduction of tension between the two main characters. It is almost as if they have become friends. C'mon, O'Hare has a love/hate relationship with Fox... and the hate was reduced greatly in this one.Goldberg and Evanovich work hard to create a "Mission Impossible" or "Leverage" type feeling and at times they accomplish that feeling.. It is fun to watch them going after the bad guys. The book is pretty much PG -- so much so that I was extremely shocked towards the end when the bad guy drops the "F" bomb-- While it was in character for that character (and it was dropped for shock value)-- it sort of reminded me of the parody slasher flick I watched once that broke from the main story to show a guy sitting behind a desk who explained that R rated films made more money than PG rated films.. and that one certain way of earning an R rating was to use certain words.. Therefore, the makers of the film were taking this moment to say, "F____ You!" It was funny in the film, but here in the book, it caught me offguard because the rest of the book was so clean.I'm a fan of Goldberg, and I generally like Evanovich's Plum novels (which are clearly not PG material) and I'm no prude, but I felt like this F-Bomb dropping was so unexpected that it was uneven...

Charming series about a con man who is working with an FBI agent on special missions
The second book in the O'Hare and Fox series is even better than the first one (isn't this whole play on words interesting enough? Especially since it's the Hare who is chasing the Fox here, or is she?).FBI agent Kate O'Hare is once again partner with thief extraordinaire and con man Nick Fox to help the FBI steal back an important piece of art and prevent a political incident with China. If you love meticulously planned cons that involve a cast of funky characters you will love this book. The chemistry between the characters is great, especially the sizzling atmosphere between Kate and Nick. The story is faced paced with unexpected turns and the writing is fluid and easy to read. It's perfect for a nice weekend on the couch. It never gets too technical, but every now and then they use some special tools or gadgets, and especially Kate's dad is always good for using a rocket-launcher to save the day and get them out of a bad situation and then goes back to live in his casita with Kate's sister in suburbia (who is still trying to get her to date an accountant). Too bad they can never tell their stories, as their cons are strictly off the books and rogue. There are some of the characters from the last book, like the wanna be actor and the lady who can drive or fly anything, even if it is without a valid permit, plus a new techie ex Geek Squad guy.If you loved the movie Oceans 11, you will probably love this book. Maybe even more.Copy provided through NetGalley

Hilarious and Action-packed
The Percy Pancake scene had me laughing out loud . One of the funniest scenes I've ever read. Loved this book. On to the next one in this series.

No 'who done it'
You already know the targeted villain, it's the getting to the target that makes this series so fun! Brilliant, colorful characters add to the chase. My favorite though, has to be Jake, Kate's retired, special ops dad who's making up for lost time with his daughter by lavishing Kate with loving support and expensive things. It's how he supports her and the things he gives her that make this series hilarious!
