Squalane Cleanser, Facial Cleansing Balm and Hydrating Makeup Remover

Okay, I bought this on a whim. I have pretty severe sebaceous hyperplasia. I have had chemical peels. I’ve had them burned off, frozen, I’ve used topical retin A from my dermatologist. It always rages back. I saw a review say this stuff shrinks them and makes them much less visible. I was put off by the price, but let’s face it, I’ve dropped a lot more than this.My first wash, I did not use anything to remove my make up. I wanted to see if this got rid of it by what was left when I used my toner. Initially, I thought this stuff would be greasy. IT IS NOT! It COMPLETELY MELTED MY MAKE UP AWAY! I have used it daily for about two weeks. It is unlike anything I have ever used. It leaves my face clean, but not dry. It isn’t oily either, like some make up removers that then require soap and water. I have purchased most of the face cleaners in Ulta. I have never, in my oily 57 years, used anything like this. The price point is amazing considering what it does. It even removed my waterproof mascara???? I don’t know what is in this, and frankly I do not care. It’s hot where I live, and my SH is not growing. My skin feels clean. It’s not dry. It’s not greasy. I write reviews only occasionally, but I want others who have struggled with oily skin issues for years to know there’s something out there for us. I can’t speak to dry skin, but it feels extremely gentle. Am I rid of my excess oil completely? No, but I have other solutions in my toolbox for that. I will do without other things to buy this again and again. I love other products from The Ordinary, but THIS one is the Holy Grail. I still have bumps from SH. However, they are almost flat, and much less noticeable. For my fellow sufferers out there, this helped me. They’re no longer the first thing I see when I look in the mirror. I don’t feel like people see them and wonder what the heck is on my face. Many thanks to The Ordinary for a decently priced, effective product that does what it says.

Follow the directions, this is Fabulous! Used on dry skin or wet this cleanser & makeup remover is sensitive, non drying, and leaves you with skin that honestly feels younger and nice to the touch. There is no scent and no type of reaction. I have Older Woman skin and these natural ingredients are true! It priced right as well & Cruelty Free!!!

Super hydrating and silky (doesn't dry out skin)...I love that you apply it to dry skin first, so you can focus on target areas without splashing around with your eyes closed 😅 highly recommend!

Cons: • Does not foam like traditional cleansers. • Texture feels thick until you warm it in your hands. • Heavy waterproof makeup may need a second cleanse. The Ordinary brand never disappoints!! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I feel like as of lately, and NOT JUST The Ordinary brand, but TONS of brands, are trying to save or skimp out on us b/c of EVERYTHING being so expensive!! Great thing about The Ordinary brand is the prices!! No scent. Very creamy which is nice. Doesn’t dry my skin out!

Perfect facial cleanser. None foaming, cleanses face extremely well. Easy on sensitive skin. Has become my go to facial cleanser. Impressed by the whole product line. My daughter uses the brand as well.

I've had very dry skin in the last year and nothing has been helping. I dont know if its specifically what im using or just getting older. This face oil has tremendously helped. Much better than the regular foaming soaps I had been using! Would definitely recommend if a friend was having the same issues!

This is my go to daily cleanser. It removes my makeup easily and doesn't overly dry out my skin.

First of all, this has an oily texture so if you have acne or prone to spots you may want to check it with your skin doctor first. In my experience I can say that I absolutely love this product and it does clean and prepares my skin very well for the serum/cream after.
