2010 Physicians' Desk Reference

amazing what doctors are supposed to know. For the layman a great source of information for all types of prescription medications and what they are used for. A very heavy / thick book with more information than a regular person ever needs (wants) at a great price. Book was in excellent / like new condition.

This was the first time I ordered anything from Amazon. This book would have cost me approximately $100.00 from the book store. I bought this PDR for $19.95 plus a little shipping. I was very impressed with the condition of the book. It appeared to be new. I was also impressed that it was shipped immediately. I ordered on a Thursday and received it an the following Monday. I will buy again and I will attempt to order from the same business. Thank-you!

Don't know how they manage to sell this for so little, but they do. Prox 80% off regular. And I'm not going to ask any questions. Have an older "PDR" from 2000. It was time for a newer edition. This arrived unsealed and new as advertised, and promptly. "PDR" used to come out with a mid-year paper supplement and that probably won't happen here, but kudos to Amazon and partner nonetheless.HHK

This purchase from Amazon was just as promised. The condition was used but good and it arrived in about a week. I bought this book for a friend who was without internet access, and she was pleased that I could help her.I have now made several purchases from Amazon and so far I am very happy with my selections.

I choose the PDR as an asset to my present library of various other "Medical Books". The price was just unbelievable as well. Com-pared to the latest copies, the contents are essentially the same. I would recommend browsing Amazon to anyone looking for quality books, for very inexpensive prices.

This manual is all about chemistry and out of reach for me. You must be a lab chemistry person to understand it. It is not for the average user taking meds.

A little large, but this feature is in balance with content.Recommended Reference Text for Americans, and an alternative or second reference to compliment the CPS for Canadians. very valuable information presented in a format that is easy to navigate and quick to extract from. Clear text for the medical professional (Pharm.D, M.D., N.D., R.N. and relevant PH.D, Masters or Undergrad students). Not recommended for Home use by untrained medical assistants or public due to language and background education required to interpret correctly. Some education in medical sciences needed.
