American bass bad a$$!
I have been a rockford fosgate fan since the 90's. They have always had great craftsmanship, and when you turn the gain knob to bring them to life, chills down your spine, smile on your face, pissed off neighbors or in some chance another interested party! I really wished they would do a head unit, like dedicated for passenger vehicles, they have marine units but to the best of my knowledge no dedicated unit yet. Yeah you can get one with the high end nissan Titan, but I think Pioneer or Kenwood is the true manufacturer. My P2D2-12's are paired with a 750x1 Prime Rockford Fosgate amplifier would I like to have the 1000w sure, but I have my speakers are wired to 1 ohm based on the diagram that was in the included booklet that came with each speaker as well as a Rockford Fosgate sticker. Make sure you follow that precisely, solder your connections, use maximum size speaker wire if your doing 1 ohm. 10 gauge is the maximum size. They are 600 RMS and 800 max output wattage. My 750x1 wired to 1 ohm pushes little over 1000 watts like 1033 I think it is. But they sound terrific! Have it paired with a Avh-110bt head unit by pioneer, the subwoofer setting for that is perfect then paired with bass/gain knob, listening to multiple genres without drastically adjusting your amplifier. That's about it folks...hope this helps.

Blown in 8 months
They sound amazing. But using a Rockford Fosgate amp, kept at 3/4 gain, sub levels at 0, hardly ever banged them hard for more than 5 minutes. Simply blown. Yes they were correctly installed and wired. Do not purchase. Even light use blows them.

Quit working after only 4-5 months
Sound quality was the best I've heard in years, and i only used 1 of the 2... for about 4 months, without much use... But then it just quit while I was driving... Don't know why but I have tested it on other systems and nothing... seller only warranties product for a month... smhBut they did say they would replace it if i paid for the shipping to return it...I'm wondering why i paid for the $30, 3 yr protection plan then...

surprised me
These sub's are crazy. I wasn't really expecting them to be super loud but they proved me wrong. The only problem is the amp. 1600 watt boss wouldn't recommend having waste of money. My 500 watt alpine is better. Over all if you get them don't got cheap on an amp you will regret it. Trust me!! " Go big or go home."
