Arrived promptly, well packed, and from Germany. Assembly is easy as the main lantern comes complete and glazed. The base, two pole sections, and top simply screw together. The thread is fine, so be careful not to cross thread as it is easily damaged. If you do damage it, then I would guess it would not be easy to rectify. Take your time however,and ensure that you aren't forcing anything, and a really strong join will result without difficulty.This item does need to be wired in a permanent location - it is not a plug in and go fitting that you can stick in the corner of your lounge! If you don't know how to wire it safely (and it's metal, so safety is essential) then find someone who does.Total time of assembly and installation, to an existing power supply, less than 25 minutes. Looks good and really good value at the price.

Well made value for money

I am very pleased with this garden post light, now that it is installed it looks superb. Unlike many post lights which are made from composite resin materials, this is made from from aluminium castings and is robust and well machined, so should last many years. Installation is a bit of a handful if you are attempting this by yourself, in final assembly the unit is quite bulky, so I would advise assistance. However the results are worth the effort. As stated in one of the previous reviews, the packaging was not of the best. Fortunately nothing was broken but the supplier needs to pay some attention to this.

The light looks superb in my garden, a little tedious to assemble but well worth it. Great value for the money.The only negative is the packaging as the lamppost arrived damaged, but was replaced within 24 hours thanks to Amazon 😄😃

Looks ok when complete but I found that there were several issues with things not lining up and there is no written instructions just photos of a very poor quality

I have put two of these together, today. They look as described and pictured, however, the bases are rather small which tends to make them a little "top heavy". They will need screwing down, securely. I also notice that there is no groove in the base, or any provision to allow a cable to pass into the connection block. If you were placing these on solid concrete or a patio, it would cause a problem. As it happens, mine are for a decking area, so I can drill a hole in the decking for the cable to enter from underneath.

This really looks elegant and makes the front of my house look really posh - I had it installed because of my age, but it didn't take long so it must be easy. It gives a really good light too.

Zunächst war meine Erwartungshaltung wegen der geringen Preises sehr bescheiden, da ich aber fünf Stück dieser Leuchten benötigt habe und mir das Design am Produktbild sehr gefiel, habe ich mich entschlossen, fünf Stück dieses Modells zu bestellen.Die Lieferung war schnell, seltsamerweise kamen die fünf Stück in drei Teillieferungen, was sich aber nicht auf die Versandkosten auswirkte. Die Verpackung war einwandfrei und die Ware unbeschädigt.Beim Zusammenbau der Lampen war ich dann von der ungewöhnlich guten Verarbeitung und Qualität, gemessen am Preisniveau, überrascht. Alles lies sich einwandfrei zusammenbauen, die Leitungen einfach einfädeln und anschließen und sogar eine abgedichtete Klemmdose ist im Fuß integriert. Es wackelt und scheppert nichts und das Material aus Druckgussaluminium macht einen soliden Eindruck.Wichtiger Hinweis: Zur Aufstellung muss ein fester Untergrund vorhanden sein, also Pflastersteine, Waschbetonplatten oder eine betonierte Fläche. Zwei Löcher bohren, beiliegende Dübel rein und der Fuß wird mit zwei beiliegenden Schrauben einfach festgeschraubt. In meinem Fall sollten die Lampen auf einem mit Rindenmulch beschütteten Erdboden befestigt werden, wofür diese jedoch nicht konstruiert sind. Zwei kreuzförmig zusammengenagelte Holzlatten, unsichtbar unter dem Rindenmulch und schwarzem Gartenfließ mit Erdnägeln fixiert, brachten dann die erwartete Standfestigkeit.Als Leuchtmittel habe ich dann 4W LED-Filament Leuchtmittel (die mit den vier "Fäden") verwendet, um den Lampen auch innerlich einen edlen Touch zu verleihen. Die Leuchtstärke und Lichtverteilung ist perfekt und das angenehme warmweiße flimmerfreie Licht verleiht dem Garten die ideale Stimmung.Fünf Sterne - klare Kaufempfehlung!

A ver, le pondría las 5 estrellas porque los acabados, el material, la calidad y la estructura me gustan mucho. Las instrucciones vienen muy bien detalladas y es montaje fácil. Pero el problema está en la base, ya que es muy frágil y cualquier golpecito a la farola lo rompe con facilidad ya que es muy delgado y poco resistente y la farola es muy alta e inestable. Es un punto bastante importante a mejorar porque ya se me han roto 4 sólo con darle un golpecito de nada y para pegarla a veces es imposible. Incluso 1 se partió la base por donde collas el tornillo porque al apretar con el potro para que quedase bien fija se partió la base... Detalles importantes a mejorar.
