Excellent product, and keeps my lovebirds healthy! My two peach faced lovebirds are now 9 years old, and have always been healthy. I feed them a quality seed mix, fruits and veggies as treats, and a powdered egg/honey nutritional supplement (mixed in their seeds). But about eight months ago, my male lovebird started having occasional seizures and was losing feathers around his face. I was worried about him when he had two seizures in one week- he would fall to the bottom of his cage and his wings would flap uncontrollably for about 30 seconds-then, he would be fine. I went to the bird store, and was recommended to add some of this liquid calcium to the water (1/2 teaspoon per small water dish--amount would depend on how large the dish is). I was told seizures are fairly common in the parrot family when there is a calcium deficiency-which even a good diet may not provide all necessary calcium. I bought a smaller bottle from the store and monitored seizures- he had one later in the week, but sure enough, that was the last seizure he has had in over seven months! I absolutely credit that to this liquid calcium supplement. I add it to their water every day, and my bird has not only been seizure free, but seems to be healthier and more energetic as well. I now order the larger bottle from Amazon due to ease of delivery. I highly recommend liquid calcium supplement for all bird owners-a balanced diet is critical for pet birds, and seed mixes and even fruits and veggies might not provide all the nutrients and calcium your bird needs. I realized how important a calcium-rich diet is for my birds- and how difficult it is to supplement with food alone. Thankfully, now I have liquid calcium to give them. I truly believe it's saved/prolonged his life.

This calcium supplement is great to have in the chicken first aid kit. It helped my hen that had an egg bound issue. Easy to give and the applicator tip was a good addition. I do think it should have more in it for the cost but other than that it's a good product.

Calcium for the canaries vitamins and any other type of vitamins for the appetite for any disease very good

This is a must have if you keep birds that love to lay eggs. Should you bird become eggbound, a few drops of this product via an eyedropper should solve the issue within about 15 to 20 minutes and can be the difference between life and death for your treasured feathered friend! I keep mine in the door of my refrigerator, always at hand if needed!

I use this for my conure. She doesn’t mind it bc she still eats all her food. So I would recommend.

To be honest it sounds like it'd be a great product but I gave this to my quails and I believe it gave them diarrhea AKA watery stool. So no that's not exactly a good thing or bad thing but kind of make a mess so I don't think I would continue using this .

It seems to be working well and it has no effect on the birds drinking they dont seem to notice that it is added in the water.
