I live on the east coast and this is the best thing I have ever purchased to help me deal with the swampy summers. I live in the city so I walk a lot and take public transportation, and I am that person shamelessly using this fan while you're sweating through your work clothes.I initially bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, who similarly does not enjoy the feeling of sweating through his clothes all summer, and since then I have bought many more for myself and for others.I like that it's compact but mighty, and I prefer this to the ones you can plug into your phone, which I feel I would easily lose in my bag (and they drain your precious phone battery, no thanks).

I've been a customer of Amazon's for going on a couple of decades and I rarely write reviews (who has the time?). However, this little fan is really a life saver for a girl with the hot flashes. Ladies, if you know the misery of these periodic sweats, get one of these little fans. It maintains a charge for a couple of weeks even if you pick it up to use it several times a day. It's small and quiet and folds up so you can take it anywhere (well, maybe except for the theater - it does buzz a little). It moves a lot of air for a little thing and if you run your fingers into the blades it doesn't even hurt. Well done, Jomilly, whomever you are!

One thing I’ve learned traveling, not every place in Europe is equipped for the same high temperatures we experience living in Florida. Many hotels & Airbnbs either don’t have air con, it doesn’t work very well, or they have control of it and you don’t! I say that because I forgot to check my Airbnb listing before we left for our first European trip since the Covid shutdowns. I was just so excited to be able to go again…BIG mistake. Due to a delay caused by a fire on the grounds of a “castle” right by the train track, we had to stand in the blazing sun at a small train station, in the middle of nowhere in Italy, waiting to be driven by bus to another station further down the tracks to proceed with our trip. After 3 hours in the blazing sun, with no shade available, we finally arrived to our Airbnb at almost midnight. We were so excited until we walked in and the place was even hotter than it was- still- outside. We both simultaneously turned to the host who had walked in the door with us, and said “There’s no air con, is there?? He shuffled his feet nervously and said “No, sorry. But I can bring you a fan TOMORROW.” We were both so overheated & exhausted, we had no choice but to stay. All of this to say, we each had one of these little fans on our night tables and they’re the only thing that stood between us and the possibility of us melting to death! They could be made a bit better, ie made to stay steady while they’re plugged in so they could run all night. But all in all, the cooling ability for these little bits of plastic is phenomenal. They, and cold wet towels on our foreheads are the only reason we made it through the first night of our adventure…

This tiny fan is a lifesaver! It folds up very small so it easily fits in your pocket or purse. The fan blades are made of foam so it’s very surprising how much air they move quietly. The battery lasts a long time between charges. I love this little fan! Keeps me cool in the summer heat when I’m traveling or going to concerts or even when having hot flashes. You really need this in your life.

My wife has a problem with temperatures - one minute she is cold, the next she is hot. And she was always swinging something to cool down (cool she can handle). I saw this fan on Amazon and didn't even think twice - bought it. Charged it up and gave it to her. She looked at it quite strangely, but finally turned it on. You would not believe her eyes - perfection! Since then I have bought her two more - one of them needs to be close when she gets hot. This little fan is ideal, with a fairly long battery life, and quickly charges. The only issue I have with it is the USB connector. It would have been much better with an M type. The wife has a hard time figuring out which way to plug in the charger cable. Highly recommend the little fans, even if you don't get hot spells.

I love the idea of this fan, and for the first month it kept its charge rate. Now if I charge it completely and put it in my purse for you set a different time it doesn't hold a charge. So I have to carry a portable charger with me. Otherwise it was a great little thing

I bought this little fan for my daughter because we will be traveling to Asia in the summer and sometimes it will be very hot outside when we tour some cities. This fan is very lightweight, small, and portable, but the power of the wind is stronger than I expected. Even with the low speed, the wind is strong, which is very good for the hot weather. The blades are soft and safe for kids. My 5-year old plays with the blades and I don't need to worry her fingers getting hurt. My daughter also loves the color pink. Overall, we love this little fan.
