A solid entry lock for my garage service door.
Solid entry lock. I ordered a cheaper lock and it would be ok for an interior closet. However, this is much more appropriate for heavy use. Looks great, offers a sense of confidence. Schlage, always worth a few bucks more. Would buy again.

It works well and has a nice tight fit. Easy to install and works in most standard door knob holes.

Better quality than most.
Easily installed, decent hardware, smooth operation.Knob is a little smaller than most, but that's not a problem.Feels reasonably well made. Not old school Schlage quality, but it's made in China so no surprise there.Better than most of the doorknobs presently available.But I wish they'd give us three or four keys!

"Locked" Position Opposite of Other Entry Door
Works great... but please be aware the "locked" position on the knob is horizontal (vs vertical, like the other entry door in my house) and this knob is the type created to avoid locking yourself out. If you turn the handle, even after locking it, it automatically places it in the "unlocked" position. Good for a household with kids who tend to lock themselves out.Good price, at the time, for what I needed it for, and Fast Delivery (of course, it's Amazon!).

It works
It is a Schlage door lock, after all. That means it is a sturdy and.reliable hardware that is difficult to pick or drill. Source? I am an old son of an old hardware man.

Cheap junk
Poorly made, the inside knob keeps coming off and I can't find a fix. The metal that couples with the lock shaft is very thin and easily deformed. Just pulls off of the shank. Take a pass on this model and get higher quality models if you value your home safety and security.
