how do they sound with a small to medium amp on full range sound? (no use of the amps LPC, HPC or added sub) - can i get by w/o a sub?

I run them off my head unit, use the included crossover so do not use your amp or head unit cut off, I run this with infinity natchingg 6x9 in back and old 10"jl sub, if I turn off the sub it sounds great! And again this running off a Kenwood head unit just mid range not even high end unit.

do i need an amp, or a can istal with the factory radio? i have a 2011 Kia Forte (Cerato)

Hector, these speakers deliver an impressive upgrade to a stock system as they are very efficient in their use of power. And if you upgade later to a high power indash and or an additional amp for them (this is how I built system in 2009 mazda 6, in steps) they will handle the power and sound fantastic.
