Just give us an accurate description of what the product is, please!
First, my complaints: Lamp is described as "Color: Bronze". Now I see that, below that, in the bullet points, description says "Antique Brass". I saw the top description and thought I had the information I needed. Thought I was ordering a bronze lamp. Silly me. Received an antique brass lamp. Also, thought it was safe for 100 watt bulb, as the description says in the specs. Again, silly me. Instruction sheet that came with lamp and sticker on lamp says "40 watt" bulb maximum. The lamp looks fine but it is SO FRUSTRATING to order through Amazon and have the product received not be the product described. Just because something is not expensive doesn't mean customers should be treated with such disregard. Just tell us accurately what the product is. Is that too much to ask?On the plus side, the base is nice and weighty. It won't tip over. It is an attractive lamp with clean lines. The on-off switch is at the top of the lamp, which is nice, rather than down on the cord as it is on so many less-expensive lamps. The cord comes out of the bottom of the lamp.

A Floor Lamp
Well, I did read the other reviews but ordered it anyway. Instructions say 40 watt bulb. Amazon says 100 watt.What idiot reads with a 40 watt bulb??? The actual lamp is brass colored (light brass) which I didn't want, but Amazon says it is bronze and the photo is much darker. It is heavy-based and easy to put together. I feel like a fool for buying the most expensive lamp in the comparison chart. I thought it would be what I wanted. No it isn't, but as the other reviewer said, it is too much of a hassle to put it back in the skin tight box. It will do.

Poor lamp shade paint.
Nice lamp. One problem.... ever since we received it, the white reflective lining/paint inside lamp shade has been slowly flaking off. Now you touch it, and it rains paint chips. What gives? Is it still warranted?

Lamp worked great. Shipping was good but package appeared to be damaged by a rodent. Maybe that's why it was cheaper than other lamps? Happy with purchase though.
