"KJV Study Bible:" has everything I need to keep God's Word close to my heart.
I’ve been a devoted daily reader of the Bible for many decades. I’ve always wanted to carry a Bible with me when I’m away from home, but I often find it difficult or impractical to do so. So, I decided to look for an ebook edition of the Bible. It didn’t take me very long for me to find one that suits my needs perfectly: “The KJV Study Bible” from Barbour Books. This Kindle edition of the Holy Bible from Barbour Books has everything I need in order to keep God’s Word close to my heart. It is the King James Version – still the most preferred English translation of Christian Scripture in the world, and certainly the one I most prefer. Whenever I read from it, I find myself drawn closer to God. It is simply glorious to read.My new Kindle edition of “The KJV Study Bible” is very convenient to use. It works flawlessly with all my Kindle apps and devices. The Bible’s text is beautifully formatted for ease of reading and verse memorization. I can adjust both the size and style of the text font to make it easier on my eyes. The comprehensive supplemental information, which makes this a study Bible in its most true sense, is excellent. The 6,500 study notes, which are adapted from Barbour Books’ QuickNotes Simplified Bible Commentary series, are all hyperlinked to their corresponding verses. All I have to do is click/touch a Study Note hyperlink located next to a verse, and I am automatically taken to the applicable explanatory note. I can return to where I left off by clicking/touching the “Back” button in my Kindle app. Difficult, obscure, or obsolete words are hyperlinked to an excellent internal Bible dictionary.Navigating through “The KJV Study Bible” is simple and straightforward. I can go to a specific book and chapter (but not a specific verse) through an excellent drop-down menu. Other helps include: the words of Christ printed in red; subject headings that serve as a guide to what follows in the text; an excellent concordance; and a series of colorful maps.I am very pleased with my new “KJV Study Bible” Kindle Edition from Barbour Books. Highly recommended.

Not the best not the worst
UPDATE: MY ORDER WAS REPLACED WITH A WORKING BIBLE. 5 STARS. I was very happy to find a cheap King James Study Bible, and was not too happy with what I received. First off, the Bible arrived with the back cover and a few pages of Revelation bent over, and now are creased. Secondly, the Bible was MISSING THE ENTIRE BOOK OF MARK AND 20 CHAPTERS OF LUKE! It skips straight from Mark 1 to Luke 20 in one page. All in all, that requires two stars taken off from me. I do understand, however, that mistakes happen and I am not angry, I just want a replacement. Regarding the Bible, the cover is the usual thin glossy card-stock. The pages are what I believe to be recycled, so they are thin and almost grey, which is fine with me. You can write in it with colored pens, and it will not bleed through but might scrunch up the page a bit when it dries, which once again is okay with me. After late Genesis, the Bible will lay flat if you position it properly. It does contain the epistle dedicatory, which I love. Also, the study notes are obviously slanted towards Calvinist views, such as in Jeremiah 1 and Romans 9. As someone who leans greatly towards Arminianism (I reject election based on God's sovereignty alone) you have to enjoy the meat and spit out the bones. I love this study Bible and would love to give 5 stars, but until I get a non-defective Bible it'll have to wait. I recommend this (provided you get a working Bible) to anyone who likes non-intrusive study notes and who can handle a small bit of theology that you disagree with. Overall a good Bible.

Love this book.
When I found Jesus in 2011 I talked to my friend who is a devoted Christian asked for his opinion on a Bible. He recommended me the King James study Bible. Still to this day I have my hard back KJV study Bible. Since I have a kindle now I also have the KJV Study Bible on both my kindle and kindle app. What I like about it the most it breaks down the verse down and easy explanation. As of this day I carry my Bible with me wherever I go. I'm not ashamed.

Better in print than on Kindle
I bought this Bible recently on the Kindle app so I can read anywhere and even at night without having to sit under a lamp. This is a nice study Bible and the notes are helpful in understanding what is being read. There is a dictionary, search and go to feature on the Kindle version. What I found the most frustrating is on the Kindle it is hard going back and forth to the study notes and then returning to where I left off reading because the notes are at the end of each chapter (not indexed) and very hard to jump back and forth. What I like most about this Bible on Kindle is the highlight, bookmark and notes feature so that I can highlight, keep notes and add bookmarks letting me come back somewhat quickly to Scriptures that I have noted (this feature is available on all Kindle books though).I'm sure this would be a great study tool for someone in print, but on Kindle it is frustrating jumping back and forth from study notes to where you're reading. So, I have kept this Bible for general reading when I am out, or at night and use my print study Bible for further in depth studying of Scriptures.

Kjv is the only bible for me
I like this bible for traveling, taking to work or back and forth to church. I enjoy the study notes and find them helpful and it's lightweight that's important, I have another study bible that's extremely heavy and hurts to hold it after a short while

Great because of so much…
This Bible is great. It has red letters of Jesus’ word, maps and is the perfect size.
