We found that buying the genuine part was best, took a chance on an off brand and it did not work.

I think this is the right part but have to say I returned because my OEM audi Q7 switch had lots of 'hot glue sealant" around the wires which would required re-wiring/sodering. I thought this would be 'plug and play' but turned out to be a bigger job than I was ready to tackle so I returned.
