Good quality cushion really helped ease my sciatica and hip pain
I love the durability of this cushion. I am very heavy and it holds up to my weight. Yes it does go a little flatter some but that's good as it adjusts to my needs and doesn’t feel too hard on my legs when I sit. What impresses me is that the thickness rebounds when you get up. It takes time to learn where to place it on various chairs but I like the size as it allows me the ability to move it around on different type chairs to find the most comfortable spot. My first one was given to me as a gift. The price made me nervous to buy my own but after using the one I received as a gift daily at work for months where sit for 8 hours a day I didn't hesitate to spend the money on a second one for home. The first couple of days when I used it took some getting used to. Then after a week I realized the huge improvement I had with my sciatica pain and that's why I bought a second one to carry with me everywhere I go. Also the cover is very durable. Good support, good quality, good size, non-slip bottom and not hot to sit on.

The widest, mushiest and lowest.,
A quick comparison of the Top 4 here on Amazon.Love Home Coccyx Orthopedic Memory Foam Seat Cushion/seat Pad/chair Pad/ Chair Cushion/ Office Cushion/car Cushion/stool Cushion-relieve Spinal Compre -------------For small butts only! I’m 5”4 and 125 pounds and this is a SMIDGE on the not wide enough side for me. Compared to the others here it’s one of the firmest ones and will hold up forever, but it’s not for anyone with bootay – or large men! Comes in many colors and that’s nice, but it would be too small for the average adult (5’5-6’2) and over 120 pounds. It is also VERY high – a definite 4 inches that does NOT give at all when sat on…tough on the thighs if you are under 5’5 because in most seats your feet will no longer reach the floor. Nice quality though.Aylio Coccyx Orthopedic Comfort Foam Seat Cushion (Gray)Wow, this one was disappointing. In spite of all the reviews and customers that have bought this, out of these five this one was the softest….total MUSH under my body… only came in gray – yuck and compressed really easily. It was larger than most and so for bigger people that’s fine but if you are looking for higher/firmer this is NOT your choice. Wow, was disappointed in this one. Quality is okay – it just seems so much flimsier than all the rest. I was very very surprised.Orthopedic Memory Foam Coccyx Seat Cushion - * Chai's Choice New and Improved Solution! Designed for Superior Comfort and Back Support While Sitting. I am completely at a loss for WHY there is a PAW print decal on the front of it, but putting that aside this one is equal with firmness to the USEAT and the Love Home. Very high, extremely firm and comes in black. Not disappointed in this one. A toss up between this one and the Love Home / take your pick/ but note the Love Home is much smaller…larger for REAL people that’s good and nice and high and firm.uSeat™ by SimplePosture - Premium Coccyx Seat Cushion (Tailbone Seat Cushion) - Significantly Reduces Or Eliminates Pain And Discomfort RelatedSold by: SimplePosture This one was the winner for me. Equal in quality with the Chai’s Choice and the Love Home, this one was wide enough and came in black (what I wanted). It also had just a tad of contour cut into it and a much larger hole size in the back / which I appreciated. It’s not small like Love Home and not mushy/compresses easily like the Aylio. It’s my personal favorite.I hope these reviews helped all y’all decide. If you want small and high and firm, go with the Love Home. If you want thinner and very wide and mushier go with Aylio. If you want medium high, firm/black and slightly larger hole in back go with the Simple Posture. Chai’s Choice is equal to the Useat by Simple Posture in nearly every way. You’re Welcome.

Boils down to the seat cushion and stretches from physical therapy
Background: Chronic neck pain since age 24, so 20 years and counting. Chiropractic adjustment in April 2017. Chronic neck And back pain since then. Intense flare ups. Tried thus far: cortisone shots, physical therapy, acupuncture, non-steroidal and steroidal anti-inflammatories, gabapentin, and vicodin. Salonpas patches, Salonnpas lidocaine patches, Tiger Balm Patches, Dr. Teals epsom salt cream (similar to BenGay)Off the meds (couldn't stand how stupid they made me, and now understand why so many people go non-compliant with meds that interfere with needing to be smart), taking fish oil 1200 mg / day for dry eyes - apparently it should also serve to help with circulation which then should affect the stenosis and arthritis. Acquired Scoliosis and degenerative discs from the C4 - C6 with a bulge at the C5 (neck) down to the thoracic (just below the shoulder blades) isn't positively contributing to a solution. I have a winged scapula, too. Mind y'all, most of us have degeneration, especially as we get older, and most folks won't have any issues or even realize it.For those who Do struggle, give this pillow a chance. I thought it was going to be a bunch of baloney like all the other things I tried., but what the heck, right? I noticed when pressure was taken off the coccyx I got mild to momentary relief. I dragged the pillow around town with me today because I was feeling so much better while using it. I did get a deep tissue massage Tuesday and I was pretty darn sore afterwards, but I made good on my promise to drink water to flush the lactic acids out, and that turned out to be a smart deal.So the short solution: Coccyx seat cushion and deep tissue massage with very light yoga or stretches I learned at physical therapy. Having a sturdy cushion behind me keeps my posture in check, which makes things even better. We're not talking miracle cure, but this is the first real relief I've had in six months. I noticed trips to the powder room for which I needed to sit took the pressure off the coccyx so off I went to look for a decent looking seat. This one shall serve well.20180817: It's been nearly 1 year and it's still holding up. I'm 130 - 136 lbs on any given day and I sit on this at least 8 hours per day. I use it everywhere in the house. My back pain has improved greatly and I attribute a large part of that to this seat cushion. I'm more attached to it than a toddler is to their binky! I've only had to wash the cover once and it was a slight struggle to get it back on, but nothing I couldn't handle with a few choice words. I use Scotch Guard to help with potential spills since I sit on it while eating. I definitely recommend doing that while the cover is on the cushion - I tried it after I washed and before putting it back on. After it stretched out to full size some of the waterproofing went to the wayside.I included a picture of it to show how the label has worn, which illustrates how much I use this, and how clean it's remained. The darker grey is shadow, not dirt. My tush print isn't even visible - that's how well this has held up. I have another one in my car from a different brand that's $5 or $10 less and that one is holding up well, but this one has a better feel to it. I also use my car far less so it's not an apples to apples comparison. One thing that struck me odd when I removed the cover is that the underside of the cushion is discolored. I don't know how the heck that happens when I sit on the top. The only thing I can come up with is the friction from me wiggling around when I get uncomfortable. I might need to reinforce the seam in the bottom of the U shape as that's definitely pulling at the stitches. They are holding tight, though, even with me poking at them to assess. Heavier people might find the seams pulling. I did my best at getting a picture, pardon the fingers - I wanted to show the seams being pulled and how they're still steadfast, but have potential to wear down eventually.
