Essie Gel Couture - Zip Me Up - #160

When I opened up the polish, everything started dripping all over and the consistency was very watery as though it was diluted. I have other polish by Essie gel couture and they are not normally like this. Extremely disappointed. The same goes with the other color that I ordered. Would not recommend this seller.

I love the Essie gel coutures. I just find the colour ranges are so limited in the uk. Nothing new for years! This one is quite tricky to apply to look even. And it doesn’t last as long as my others from this range. Shame as it’s something slightly different from the usual pinks and reds!

The colour tone is more pale and it lasts maximum 3-4 days.

Essie Produkte sind immer sehr gut und die Lacke lassen sich sehr gut auftragen und haben schöne Pinsel. Jedoch ist das grün kein hellgrün wie auf dem Bild abgebildet, es ist einer türkis oder mint und daher für mich nicht so passend.

In a twisty shaped bottle, fun to look at, and easy to hold on to, the 'Zip Me Up' colour is light, summery and lustrous. Pearlescent, clean, reflective, and minty bright; one pass from the wide brush does a whole nail. I also tried 'Take Me to Thread', which I actually prefer, it is dark mauve, purple and goes with various tops, sweater that I own, in purple. One coat gives a good coverage but I do two for extra depth. Three, for stand out 'look at me' effect. The polish stands up well to typing, washing up, gardening, general wear and tear passes it by.Flattering to tanned toes and fingertips, this zingy, glowing colour will co ordinate happily with spring and summer frocks, beachwear too. It might also well go with a bridesmaid's gown - it has a celebratory tone.

My daughter loves it, anyway, It needed three coats and took a while to dry but a very nice pearly coat.
