BUY IT NOW, Don't miss out on a (mostly) pain free wax!
THIS CREAM SAVES LIVES! In all seriousness, everyone knows getting a Brazilian bikini wax is horrifying. It's a painful process, but necessary for all the thick-haired ladies out there. I bought this product after reading every review, good and bad, and hoped for the best. I was so afraid that I would be one of the women who the cream did not work for. That was not the case AT ALL! This stuff works, but you have to put a lot on. It's a small tube, and I will be lucky to get three waxes out of it. I put a THICK layer on 45 minutes before my appointment time, then reapplied in my more sensitive areas 20 minutes before. 5 minutes before my appointment, I went in side and wiped it off in the bathroom (it is somewhat messy, so I wore a dress and nixed the underwear!). Now, don't think that you won't feel a thing using it, because that is not the case. You'll feel some, but it is MUCH more tolerable. I would say it takes the pain from a "I don't think I will survive to the end" to a "oh wow I'm surprised at how little that hurt." Moral of the story: BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! I do believe that it is worth mentioning that you'll get the most out of your wax if you have 1. A skilled and knowledgeable wax specialist. My first time, I don't believe my wax specialist did a very good job informing me about good post-wax care and actually performing the procedure. I recommend asking around to find the right person for the job. 2. Use a soap in that general area that your wax specialist recommends. I had been using the pink Dove bar of soap and apparently that leaves a film that can get in your hair follicle and make your follicle thicker, making waxing more painful. 3. EXFOLIATE. Ask your wax specialist to recommend type of exfoliator to remove dead skin. This will also make your wax much more tolerable.

Damaged my skin -- DO NOT BUY
Does not work at all! I followed all the directions although I was unclear on how it would absorb into skin that has been prepared for waxing (too much hair). I put it on 45 mins in advance, did not rub it in. Felt some tingling in the beginning, so I thought that was promising. Went to my wax appointment, and IT HURT EVEN MORE THAN USUAL. I've been getting waxes for two years now. I thought I would try something like this to reduce the pain, which isn't excruciating, just inconvenient. But this made it hurt even more. And, on top of that, my skin was waaaaay more sensitive and now I have some damaged areas that bleed when touched and its now three days post-wax.That has never happened before, and this useless cream is the only new variable. I have asked for a refund, and never want to see this crap again.

Must Have No Scream Dream Cream
I'm someone who gets a Brazilian once a year because of the pain. Despite knowing it gets easier to wax when you keep it up, I need at least 365 days to forget the horrors of hair getting ripped out by the fistful down there. To give you some background: My hair grows fast. My skin is sensitive to ingrown hairs. I have large hair follicles and I bleed often when I get waxed.I used this product today for my second Brazilian wax in four weeks. My hair was about 1/4-1/2 inch long. I applied this product about 50 minutes before my wax (the instructions recommend 45 minutes before wax.) I put a thick layer on as suggested. I think I will probably get two to three more applications out of this tube. I lounged around for a bit to let the cream sink in and then I drove to appointment. While driving, I could tell my bikini line felt numb where my underwear seam hit me. It was a bizarre feeling. At my appointment the pain was reduced by at least 60% for me, which is major. I did not do my usual routine of 600mg ibprofuen beforehand due to an upset stomach. My esthetician was amazed at how well I handled the wax (I'm usually a baby!) My skin after the wax felt much less swollen and red after.Waxing blows. Don't think this will stop the pain. This product makes the pain much more tolerable. I think the best way I can put it is that the cream turns the pain more into what you feel during a brow wax or an upper lip wax. For me, that's enough to be able to keep my Brazilian up.

It helps somewhat but it's still going to be painful
Even though I read mixed reviews I decided to give this product a try. Anything is worth a try when it comes to the pain of Brazilian waxing. The first time I tried it I followed the instructions on the tube but didn't feel any difference in the amount of pain. Before counting it as a loss, I decided to give it another shot. This time I rubbed the cream in a bit more. I had been hesitant to rub it in a lot the first time since it states that there should be a layer of cream on the skin, and it's not meant to be absorbed like moisturizer. But on my second attempt I decided to rub it in somewhat more, but not so much that it was completely absorbed. That seemed to help. It did dull the pain for the most part. However, the areas that are particularly sensitive did not receive much benefit. It was still super painful in those areas. In defense of the product, I have very sensitive skin. I probably shouldn't be waxing but I find that my skin tolerates the long-term effects of waxing much better than the effects of shaving, so I do it anyway. I think this is a case-by-case situation. The cream probably works well for people with less sensitive skin but is less effective for those of us with highly reactive or sensitive skin. If you can afford it, you may want to give it a shot, but I wouldn't have high expectations. Even if it works really well for you, you are still going to experience some pain. That's simply the reality of waxing.
