I'm Enjoying the Gonesh Sticks. They Won My Little Comparison.
I bought both these and a Nag Champa multipack in the same order and of the two, I like these far better. All of the Nag Champa fragrances that I've tried, about three now, all smell the same. They pretty much smell like "something burning" in general. I can't discern any real difference among them. You can smell slight differences before you burn them but once they're lit, it's just "something burning". It's pleasant but not remarkable. The Gonesh ones have a sweet, rich smell and you catch notes of different fragrances. There are distinct differences and you can tell immediately. The ones I've used so far came out of the package smelling spicy, which worried me at first. They're thinner than the Nag Champas and they are black where the Nag Champas are brown. The Gonesh fragrances show off as the stick burns. I thought burning might help the Nag Champas as well, but fire made no difference in those. When the Gonesh burns, though, you smell the fragrance even better than when unlit. The fire tones the spice down and the fragrance on the label identifies itself to you. The difference is really stark between them but my biggest disappointment on the Nag Champas was with the Patchouli ones. I pulled those out first, being a huge Patchouli fan, but could smell no Patchouli at all. I have bought Patchouli oils to add to liquid soaps and to make my amateur salt scrubs and bath salts, so I know what it should smell like and it's a smell that I absolutely LOVE. But Nag Champa let me down on that score. I just put the rest of those away, to be burned absolutely last. I am that disappointed with those.I bought these two brands together on purpose, so that I could compare them, and of these two I will definitely buy Gonesh again. While both had good reviews and good prices, to me Gonesh is the superior product. They take about the same amount of time to burn, but what you get AS they burn is like night and day. If I could keep that Gonesh smell in my house nonstop I would, but I don't have that kind of time.

These smell amazing! Burn time, they seem to last about 15-20 minutes (give or take). Very well made and I am so happy I found these!!!
