Athlyt Exercise Bike, Black

This exercise bike was at a very affordable price and has been excellent value for money. It was delivered quickly and easy to assemble by a non-expert. It is very well made, strong/sturdy, and works just fine. I've been using it daily for several months and it has a comfortable well-padded saddle, with the right adjustable settings for saddle height and peddle resistance. The latter means it's easy to set the effort for each exercise session. The digital information display works right out of the box (with batteries added) and is actually helpful in showing the timing of each ride, 'speed' (Km per hour), 'distance (Km travelled), pulse rate, and calories. Overall this bike gives me exactly what I need at a very affordable price - I also play a concert video on You Tube via my PC to keep me entertained and I barely notice each 40 minute session. No need to spend £1,500+ on some fancy thing with a shouty iPad personal trainer as advertised on TV, as this does a better job for about £1,410 LESS. Recommended.

As you may expect for £80 you get what you pay for.It exceeding my expectations in terms of functionality, the gears are very responsive and you notice a change at all levels.It's relatively comfortable although even though the seat looks really comfortable in the pictures, after half an hour it begins to get a bit sore on your be-hind.It folds in half and is nice and light to move around and put away as necessary (I guess this is age, ability and strength dependant) - My partner and I are both 29 and manage to move it around although she wouldn't take it up and down the stairs she is comfortable and finds it easy moving it from room to room using the attached wheels.The instructions are rubbish although it's relatively easy to put together and self explanatory.The monitor is a bit of a let down but seriously, what can you expect for a bike that fuctions better than expected at this price point? Somethings got to give somewhere...Overall...I was well impressed with this item vs value for money, it definitely fulfils it's intended purpose. The screen is cheap but it does the job. The biggest negative for me (which isn't really a big deal) is that it arrived with one of the stickers torn off but I couldn't be bothered to waste my time arguing with Amazon/seller about it.

Quality better than I had expected considering this is under £150. Really comfortable to use, straightforward to assemble and has a good range of tensions for different difficulty levels. Works brilliantly well in my compact outdoor studio, better still the bike folds up so it takes up barely any room when not in use. So easy to jump on and off, light to move and has wheels to assist moving it. 5/5

Bike in general is very good.Unfortunately the modem supplied is not of very good quality.Although replaced by the Company , the second unit was not much better, shame as bike is well made.

This is a good beginners bike. I am impressed by the resistance which is similar to gym bikes I have used. You wouldn’t want to be too tall to use this. I am 5’9” and the seat is just a tiny bit too low for me. I have solved this by just screwing in the seat retaining bolt and putting the saddle section on top. It leaves the saddle loose when folded but it doesn’t effect use. Folds up really well and fits in a small space. Overall very impressed.

Really nice bike for the price, seems good quality although wont get regular use until after Christmas as it's a present I put together early to make sure want missing anything. The folding is nice and compact as this was main reason for buying (but gave it 4 stars as has slightly fiddly bolt you need to put in each time you fold it up to stop it falling apart).

What a nightmare and waste of money! The thing weighed an absolute ton to start with. When I unpacked it it was damaged and missing several crucial bits! Even if it had been ok it was so cheap looking and had scratches on it too.However, when Amazon Customer Service tried to find a contact for the supplier on their system, there was nothing at all! A tad worrying... But I had no issues at all with returning it and Amazon gave their usual excellent customer service. I had to arrange and pay for collection and postage back, but that worked smoothly via Parcel Monkey and a refund of the postage charge will also be given. All in all a lot of agro for a piece of junk!

Easy to assemble, clear instructions. Easy to fold away and light enough to move. But most importantly to me was that it is comfortable to sit on owing to the large seat and no clunking when pedalling. its whisper quiet and the resistance is good, I have it set a couple of notches below max and that was plenty for me. I have had two other exercise bikes before this one, and this is the best one.
