2 years ago I bought a 25-year-old house. For unknown reasons the yardarm in the lamp was missing. And it has bothered me all this time cuz I think of the things I could do with the yardarm on that lamp. So I bought this product and I was worried about whether it would fit through the holes correctly and if I could put it in right. It could not have been easier! And now after 2 years I can stop nagging myself about buying a house without a yardarm in the lamp. My daughter lives just a few houses down for me and her lamp in the yard had exactly the same issue. So I bought one for her too. I looked in the big box DIY stores for something like this, in metal. And I couldn't find them in any material. So I was more than happy to buy this plastic one and at least have something I can use.

Replacement is better than the original cross arm
Ther outdoor lamp posts had broken cross arms that were plastic. I hadn't been aware that I could get replacements but was pleasantly surprised when I happened to search and found these. These are sturdier and longer than the original plastic cross arms. I look forward to hanging plants from the cross arms this summer and not worrying about the cross arm breaking.

Perfect Fit
This replacement cross arm fits my small 3” lamp post perfectly without over powering it. It is good quality. The gold knobs are plastic and easy to take off and put back on. Perfect for my 12 x18 flags.

End cap balls need to be glued or fall off.
Not a tight enough fit to hold ball on end. Looked ok after glueing ball on.
