Sadly, I've had spider veins since I was in my 20s. Now that I'm in my 50s, they are even worse and accompanied by sun spots from tanning over the years. I've tried several different leg concealers over the years, and none were satisfactory...they all looked like face makeup smeared on legs. Well, I've finally found the leg concealer I've searched for...it really works great!! The color is smooth, natural, blends in well, and best of all, completely covers these unsightly veins. The color will come off a bit, like when you're sitting in the car, so just place a towel over the drivers seat. But overall, it has staying power until the next morning's shower. I don't use it all the time, but it's perfect for special occasions and days I know my legs will be out in public view. I've got this product on subscription now!!!

This product is great! I have psoriasis and experience breakouts on my feet and lower legs. I was reluctant to wear shorts or skirts because of the red, scaly patches the condition leaves. I started searching for a product I could use to hide those spots. I'm not one to spend much time on applying makeup, so I was looking for something simple to use, affordable that would not be thick or heavy. The product also needed to stay on and not rub off on clothing, furniture, etc. A lot to ask for, I know. I decided to try Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs because it promised to have all the features I was looking for. To be honest, I was more than a little skeptical. I showered just before using the product, I used a nylon shower puff and Dove Bath Bar on my legs and feet. I didn't apply lotion afterward as most contain oil which may interfere with the products ability to stay on the skin. I followed the directions to spray product on my palm and rub on the leg. I wasn't pleased with the results. There were streaks and I couldn't get an even appearance. I decided to try spraying it directly on my legs. The decision to try this latter method was easy because it was a beautiful breeze free day and I have a very private back patio. So, dressed only in a towel wrapped around myself, I headed out back door; I wouldn't recommend trying it indoors. The results I got from spraying it directly on my legs were beyond expectations. I applied it, waited a few minutes then reapplied to areas that needed it. Back indoors, I used a blow dryer on the low setting to speed up the drying. I attended a family event that afternoon that was outdoors on a bright sunny day. I wore a skirt for the first time in many years. More than one of my family members commented on how great my legs looked. They asked what I was taking (ie prescription medication) to get the psoriasis cleared up so well. They were as impressed as I was at how well this product covered the reddened spots without looking like I had heavy make up on my legs. I ended up going to bed early, too exhausted to shower. I expected to wake up and find the product all over my sheets. I was amazed to find that my sheets were as pristine as they were when I had gone to bed. Even standing in a hot shower this product did not run until I applied soap to my legs. I'm so glad I found this product. I will be back in my favorite shorts and skirts this summer and will no longer hate the popularity of bare legged fashions! To say I would recommend this product to a friend is putting it mildly.

I'm as pasty as they come with red bumps on my thighs thanks to KP and I've tried all sorts of self tanners and lotions over the years. Eventually I had to accept that I could either have streaky orange legs that reeked of that tell-tale self tanner smell or I could just wear pants year-round (what I eventually settled for). Well I'm preggo right now in the throes of summer and the pants are not an option (too hot). Kids are also in daily swimming lessons and I was ready to try again. Happy to say that the water did not make this stuff rub off. Huge plus. It doesn't smell at all and it's easy to rub into the skin to get an even application HOWEVER, the color is still orange-tinted (yes, the lightest one they offer). Now it's not as bad as other self-tanner lotions I've used mind you, but I would have preferred a more pink-toned product (other reviews said it was pink-toned but this is not true at all). I think it's pretty obvious it's not my true skin color if you look closely enough but the color difference is tolerable. I wish it were a better cover-up. It doesn't make the bumps less noticeable, just tints the skin around it but it's still way better than fake tanner lotions. Just fyi-I bought this on my own without any obligation whatsoever.

I love this stuff!!! such a great alternative to a tanning lotion or mousse! i used to buy st tropez tanning mousse which was lovely but also very expensive, as well as a neostrata lotion which was also lovely. this sally hansen product is a different sort of product in that it is quite opaque if that makes sense. normally when i use tanning lotion it will not cover flaws and or veins, this stuff is almost like foundation. although it is an aerosol spray it still does need to be rubbed in, this works instantly and will get great coverage, you know it will go on evenly and not be streaky right when you apply it because its an instant tanner and its almost more of a solution that sits on top of your skin rating than soaking in like a regular tanning lotion (its more like makeup) and the colour is great too i use this on my entire body instead of just legs like it suggests. sometimes i will use it over top of a regular self tanner for a more smooth and airbrushed appearance, also makes your legs look perfect, covers bruises and veins, etc washes off super easily, and is less important to exfoliate prior to using compared with other tanners doesn't stain your hands! only thing is, it doesn't last as long as your regular tanning lotion or mousse because it comes off very easily with soap and water. more of a product to apply daily or when needed rather than for a weekend or something overall, easy to use, great colour, acts not only as a tanner but also a coverup, easy to wash off

I have extremely pale skin, especially my legs. I'm talking blinding white when the sun is shining! I didn't have high hopes for this but bought it as it was on sale for a good price and I knew that if it didn't work I could return it. Boy, was I WRONG! This stuff is amazing! I bought the Light Glow shade and it's perfect for me and gives me a natural looking colour and takes away the blinding white that is my legs. The shimmer was not overbearing or 'stripper-like'. I've read the reviews here and know that there have been some unhappy users but I'm sitting here wondering if they took the time to actually read the instructions on the product can because some people indicated that it didn't spray evenly and that the colour was different each time they used it. When you read the instructions, it clearly says to 'shake well' and 'spray directly into hand and apply to legs'. If you follow the instructions, it will apply nicely. It dried quickly and did not transfer on to any of my clothes or sheets. I'm super happy with this product.

So pretty, but looks fake, which is fine for me, but just be aware that from clothes, it has a bit of simmer or small glitter, so you can tell it is fake. Also the shade is darker than expected, also that was good thing for me, I got light glow shade while my skin tone is light or light to medium, and it was dark, but lovely. It does last for days if you don't scrup it away. Also make sure you use it correctly, you need to spread it evenly and wait for it to dry totally.

Seriously....my neighbour said "Your legs look great". I had applied this and happened to be outside when my neighbour came by to say hello. It makes your skin look smooth....as if you have panty hose on. I ordered the lightest colour and probably could have gone a few shades darker but I still like the light shade as it makes it look quite natural. My only issue is that the spray nozzle seems to clog up so sometimes it comes out perfectly fine and sometimes I have to fiddle with it. Overall, a great product that I would re-purchase.
