Great laminating machine. Has never jammed. Good quality. Easy to use. Lightweight. Nice compact size.

Wonderful little machine . . . I have a need for a laminator that can handle moderate use and this machine does the trick. The Swingline GBC Fusion 3100L replaces my old GBC H525 which was an absolute behemoth to store and use. The 3100 is light, easier to store and it works just as well as the H525. The machine is light and it is made of plastic. If you are in an environment where ultra-durability is needed, you might be disappointed. If you work in an normal office environment with responsible adults you will be fine. The machine warms up fast, the buttons make it very simple to set up and it runs the pages through quickly. Very pleased with the machine . . . for the Amazon.com price it can't be beat!

Doesn't get as hot as our old machine. Works good, but have to put document though twice. I use the 7ml setting.

It worked well at first. Laminated four or five items. Then it mangled two documents. The first I was able to flatten somewhat with an iron. The second is permanently stuck inside the machine. Maybe I can disassemble it and recover the document. After that the machine will go into the trash.

Pretty slick gizmo! Heats up in a snap, pulls everything thru for you, and provides a nice finished product. When it says "remove promptly" it means it. I got distracted for a second, (and it works fast) and left the end in for just a bit and it curled up and I couldn't get it straightened out. If you want a flat finished product, you'd better work with plenty of room for it to come out flat, and remove it quickly.

After going through 3 different laminators that couldn't handle the amount of work we put them through, we decided to spend more to get a tougher machine. We followed the advise of HQ, we bought this laminator. I couldn't be happier. The speed and quality of lamination.

Lol, sounds a bit silly but it's smooth and fast, so we love it. Compared to the previous machine that it replaced which had a grindy motor that finally gave out after being rigged a few times... It feels like luxury to not have to fuss with because it just works well. 3000L : We use it to make signs. It was well worth the extra investment to have a machine that has functioned well and lasted. We were had gone through about 6 or 7 of the $40-$50 thermal laminators in the previous two years, so the difference in $ was easily made up for in terms of convenience and energy into replacement efforts between the two situations... I would purchase it again.
