Manufacturer discouraged me from using it with American standard shower base, hence returned.In the hindsight, I should have used it.....!With Megalock threads application at input and output, with rubber seal on top of plywood and under plywood, with Oatey shower drainage, it would have been a perfect fit.$ 9 or $6 PVC TRAP with/ without union is prone to lose and leak, this is leak proof.Manufacturer must go beyond traditional applications and write up app notes as well. Willing to help manufacturer increase market.
