49mm Lens Cap Center-Pinch, Extra Strong Springs for Sony Canon Nikon Fujifilm Olympus Tamron Sigma Pentax Leica

It comes off.
Clips on OK but clips off too .....at slightest touch. Comes off in my bag and when round my neck and touches clothing etc. Might be my lens of course but it's a good brand so I doubt it. Try it on your lenses before throwing away packing, you might want to send it back and try a different maker. I have screw-on metal caps on my 45 year Pentax Kmount lenses which are good and strong and do what they should but they dont appear on Amazon I think.

It fits, that's about it.
A perfect replacement unless you have big hands and fingers. Of course it fits the lens, that's probably a guarantee in regards to sizing. However, the two opening and closing tabs are shallower than genuine ones. This may not pose a problem if you only have small fingers, mine aren't massive but the design of this feature makes removing and fitting the cap a right pain and it's apparent why a useless bit of string was included, in the hope of securing it to the lens, somewhere, because holding onto it is not easy. Fortunately, I found my original lens cap and this one can be consigned to the 'emergency use' bin. Had I not found the temporarily lost one, I'd have ordered a genuine version as this is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

Great replacement
Having lost my Sony cap for the 200-600 lens, I was unable to find anyone selling a replacement - probably due to supply issues during lockdown. Anyway, I bought this to protect the lens in the meantime and it’s great. It’s almost identical to the original but I do find it a bit more difficult to grip the pinch mechanism to remove it. It’s really not a big deal though.I’d happily recommend this lens cap and will probably buy another as a backup since I seem to be losing a lot of lens caps lately!

Good value and fits Nikon 200-500 lens perfectly
I lost my original Nikon lens cap and found this alternative for less than quarter of the Nikon cap. I live in hope that the original will turn up! After reading reports, this was worth a try for the price and whilst its not quite as 'deep' as the original, it fits the Nikon 200-500 lens perfectly. I have found no problem with the spring that keeps it on the lens and if the original does not turn up, I am happy to use this one.

Absolute trash, buy at your own risk
This utter rubbish, doesn't fit correctly, constantly pops off. Do not put this on your expensive lenses. I ended up buying some Sigma lens caps which fit perfectly. They cost about twice as much but your lens costs many more times than that.

Good for purpose
Fits lens OK a little more difficult to attach than the lens cap that came with the camera. The reason for the purchase was to have a strap to ensure the lens cap could not be easily lost. The strap is basically a length of black thread which has to be knotted. It would of be nice if the threads ends were somehow finished off. Overall good for purpose, and good value.

Good protection
Well made but I don't agree with the claim that the springs are extra strong. They feel the same as any of my other lens caps!Having said that I would buy them again as they work just fine.

Just what I was looking for!
I use my 150mm to 600m from Tamron, and before from Sigma, as always at the verge of loosing the lens cap, so I bought in this cap just in case. Fact is that I use it, for I am always displacing the original caps .... My gear is kind of huge, and in the rush of the field, it happens that the cap may fall under the car seat... Good product .
