BIG Bang for your buck!!
I purchased two Scosche SET10CC speaker boxes from Amazon (Prime) for $22 each including shipping and I think they were a steal! The quality is much better than I was expecting for less than $25. This is the first Scosche product that I have purchased and I wouldn't hesitate to try out something else that they make.My ONLY complaint is that on the sides of one of the boxes, the carpet wasn't glued down all the way to the edge so it was peeling back a little. I had a can of spray adhesive and a small brush to apply it without getting any on the carpet so it was no big deal and took me all of 5 minutes to fix. If someone was installing them and didn't have the $15 can of glue needed, it would be frustrating. Both of my boxes appeared to be sealed well though I always add a nice bead of good quality caulk on the inside seams when setting up a new box, especially a small, cheaper one like this that only takes a minute or so to caulk. The screw on terminals are pretty good quality. I did upgrade the lead wire going from the terminals to the speakers but only to match the same wire in the rest of my sub/amp setup. They've been installed in my truck for a few weeks now and they sound great! I have two JL Audio 10W1-V2-4 in them and with them being optimized to operate in a 0.625 cu. ft. box, I added a little bit of batting since the Scosche boxes are 0.600 cu. ft. and that did the trick. If you have realistic expectations; i.e. you don't expect champagne when you pay for beer...I would HIGHLY recommend them!!

Good box but still to big
Good box for the money, mine was sealed well (always check) even with high dollar boxes. The box was well made and had good carpet & terminals were good enough. I only gave it 4 stars because it was still to big for my 97 Chevy single cab. I have the factory seats with the fold up console and it pushes the seat up about 3 1/2 to 4 inches. So I will go with a shallow mount sub and box when I can upgrade if you have a single cab and still want to carry road & emergency kits or just want to have a little cargo room behind the seat I suggest going this way also. The shallow mounts have come a really long way. With my amp mounted under the seat and this or a shallow mount like I said before I have room for my factory jack setup, toolkit, a good size emergency kit, and a laptop case behind the seat. Just this box takes a little leg room so I'm going with another setup. So if your 6 foot or better you might want to go another route. I will say this tho this box with a Sony Xplod with a flat grill looks really nice.

Truck Sustem.
I was looking for a system that would give me good bass but not rattle the doors. I came up with a Scosche 10" truck box, Pioneer TS-W254R sub, BOSS R1100M amp, and a Power Acoustik 1.5 farad capacitor. At just about $175 with tax and free shipping, I couldn't be more happy. Probably my favorite feature would be the "remote" bass level knob. Given I'm pushing 30, I dont always want my mirrors shaking, and I dont want to have to get in the back of my truck to adjust the bass. Sometimes I just want a full sound. The amp is probably overkill for this single 10, and the capacitor probably isnt necessary. But for $25 it keeps my lights from dimming, and helps me sleep at night knowing im not gonna kill my battery. Very Happy!

theres not to much you can say about a box. the sealing was ok there were deffanitely places that could have took more selant though. i didnt worry about it and just dropped my rockford p1s410 in. the box was a little shallow so i made a a spacer to go inbewteen the sub and the box this wasent even a 1/4 thick and it made it fit fine. i painted it black and you cant even tell its there. everything works fine and it sounds awsome. the speaker terminals and the speaker wire installed in the box made it easy and they hooked up with no problem. for the price, this is what you want! even if the selant isint perfect your local lowes or wal-mart should have the right selant for less than 3 bucks.

this is a bad representation of the product and am pretty upset with ...
I bought 2 of these instead of a pair on ebay that were similar and cheaper because one of the questions answered was for the speaker mounting depth. It says that it will fit a a speaker of 6.5in this is false.at the center of the box where the deepest part of the speaker would sit the box mesures 6.5in from outside to outside.that includes a 3/4in board that the box is made from. because of this my speaker sticks out of the box a small amount because it wont go in any further. this is a bad representation of the product and am pretty upset with it. thankfully it still works as i just bent the plastic ring around the speaker so it seals and sounds pretty good.the quality of the box is top notch except i wasent to fond of them stapling advertisements for other products onto the box as it just made it a paint to remove the staples.

Solid Enclosure
What made me choose this enclosure initially was that, unlike other enclosures, it was made from 3/4" MDF instead of 5/8", although it's volume was slightly less than I was looking for. Most, if not all Sub-woofer manufacturers recommend 3/4" MDF, especially if you are going to be giving them substantial wattage as I intend to do. The wire and wiring connectors are adequate though not especially high quality. My enclosure was sealed well, though others have complained that theirs were not. In all I feel this is a solidly built enclosure, especially for the price paid. I feel almost anyone would be hard pressed to build a n enclosure of the same quality for less on their own.

My bad...
Turns out it's a bit too shallow for my sub, but that's my fault. The box is great, has all the connections you need, easily mountable, comes with extra screws etc. If you buy a sub that isn't shallow mount, ensure that it isn't like mine an pokes out of the box about 1/2". Easily fixable, but just an FYI. I paired this with a Pioneer TS-W260S4 10" sub and it thumps like no tomorrow. The non-ported box give the bass I was looking for, not boomy, but nice and tight.
