I was a little skeptical that these would fit in a hole drilled with a 2" Hole Saw based on several reviews complaining the grommet did not fit snuggly in a hole drilled by a 2" Hole Saw. So far, I have only used one grommet and drilled the hole for it with a 2" Hole Saw. The grommet fit snuggly into the hole I drilled. It stayed in place when passing a 1" bundle of cables through it.

I'm building a stereo console system with a record player. I am adapting speakers and a subwoofer to make it look like a '60s era unit but with much better sound. These rubber grommets are good for running plugs, wires, etc with a clean look. I used a hole cutter to create 2-inch holes and then used a five-minute epoxy to hold them in place. The epoxy isn't exactly sticking to the rubber, but they are staying in place. If I had a 1 7/8 hole saw I'd bet the friction would hold these in place. No complaints really. They look good and keep the wires neat at they pass through various walls.

This device does what it is designed to do very well. I have a very old oak dining table I use as my desk. It was a bit of chore to drill the 2" hole with a new, diamond-edge hole saw.

After reading some reviews I was concerned that this would fit. However, with a 2 inch wood bit it fits perfectly. No issues.

As long as you have a hole thats slightly larger than the given dimension, it will be easy to install with no problems.

Definitely smaller than 2”. Got through right drill piece and it still didn’t fit properly.Not the hugest deal, I’m gonna try putting some rubber bands around each grommet you fill up the suave some more.

Hold perfectly. Try to do the hole just a bit smaller. It will be stuck and won't move

The base is hard, the center is flexible. They do what they are supposed to.
