GREAT VALUE - lifts high and strong ...
ideal solution for pickups or trucks ...small enough to fit under the axle and lifts tall enough to lift frams if neededideal combination and has lots of lifting power ...works great ...mine came with box saturated with hydraulic fluid from overpressure valve venting ... and it takes a LOT of pumping to raise it upso ... be a bit patient ... it is a high volume jack cylinder and a small pump volume ... good ratio to lift heavy loads ... but thatmeans lots of pumping to get it upvalve was "stiff" so expect to need a bit more force first few uses to get it open enough to go down ... and closed enough to go up.Once used a few times it is fine ... mostly they just painted the threads ... and you need to work that out of the threads on the "valve"unit first uses ...fine points of quality polish as not there ... but who cares ... it works, does as good a job as the 300 buck units ... and is durable as hell ...not buying it for an art exhibit anyhow ...

A great little jack.
I use this jack for jacking up huge tree trunks so I can cut logs to the size I need. It works beautifully. I put a sturdy plywood under the jack to prevent it pushing into the ground instead of lifting the tree and a small piece of plywood between the tree and jack so it won't insert itself in the tree rather than lifting it. Cut off a few lengths, lower the jack, move it back down the tree trunk, jack it up again and cut off a bunch more. I'm talking about a 70 foot tall tree about 18 inches in diameter. Will be using it on others. There are other tools I have for smaller trees. But for the big ones this works great.

Using as RV jack
I got this as an emergency RV jack and it's great for that purpose. It has a small footprint and large capacity. The ram screws out for a greater reach if needed. I've used it a couple of times fixturing heavy beams for metalworking and welding, where I put a large amount of pressure on steel to hold it in position. The jack has worked well although it seems hesitant to lower. No matter how far out you twist the needle-valve, you need to put some pressure on the ram to lower it back after use.

Good bottle jack
This 12 ton bottle jack had one of the longest range from min. to max. which I needed. Looks well made. Worked well.

though certainly not easy. Fit and finish are excellent
My 6 ton would lift one corner of my travel trailer but with difficulty and effort. This one could lift the entire thing, and lifts one side of it with ease, I could barely tell I had a load on it. Well made, hefty, and not so tough to pull the piston down after use, though certainly not easy. Fit and finish are excellent. This is my 2nd Torin, I'll certainly buy another should I need one. Instructions are clear, though minimal, but it's pretty intuitive and straightforward, I read them as an afterthought. I'm going to serious look at their 20 ton with air over hydraulics for my next one.

Missed the return window by 6 days - Grinding Noise inside
Purchased this to raise an old 3/4 ton pickup I am refurbishing. Raised the Truck up Yesterday and then the jack wouldn't go back down. Got the jack out from under the truck finally... then with additional force got the jack to go down. Sounds like there is grit or sand inside the chamber. Lesson learned. Buy... test... make sure you are in the return window. Money wasted. Too heavy to try and get warranty service. So many of these Jacks are just plain junk all coming from the Far East (I'd just say "C" country but... want this review posted). Not also that in order to get full height extension you must unscrew the jack top BEFORE trying to lift. I'll be looking next at screw jacks... they cost a lot more and are less convenient in many applications but at least you can trust them to work. I wish I could tell you what would be a good jack to buy, I thought from the reviews this one would be okay and maybe it is, but not the one I got.
