I love the gorgeous white sparkly surface that is as smooth as any high quality canvas I've ever used for portraits. The rocks were sent to me promptly and wrapped with care. They are friendly to paint on, they do not soak up the paint like chalk or leave it wet like glass. They are more like a fine smooth canvas only better and you can leave the background blank and use the gorgeous sparkle as background. It reminds me of fresh snow showing off it's sparkles in the light. The sizes sent were perfect for what I wanted. The shapes were somewhat varied which makes it so much fun to figure out what to paint and how to lay it out. The price I feel was fair, I have to drive an hour to find a place that carries them. It was easy to draw my ideas out with pencil and when I goofed I was able to easily erase the pencil. The stones are only about 3/4" thick so they aren't heavy, and will be great on a small easel for display. I highly recommend these stones for painting and the seller is good to work with.

These santorini stones are absolutely awesome!! I do a lot of stone painting work and have worked on all sorts of different textured surfaces. While I believe you can make any of them work, there’s nothing like a smooth, flawless canvas. This order came with 3 of them as stated in description, and they arrived relatively quick. In my opinion, the size of all three are generous. Keep in mind this is in reference to the work that I do. They’re perfect for my art projects. I also loved the sort of quartz kind of effect the rocks have. I don’t know how to explain it but it’s like little chunks of shiny stones, not too overwhelming, just a nice hint of added beauty, something akin to glitter. Hopefully I was able to capture this effect in the pictures posted. I do wish more would’ve come in this order, but to be honest I’ve visited other sources for santorini stones and they’re prices are sickening!! That’s why I hadn’t bought any until now. This is a fair price and if I decide to order more, it’s affordable. For my specific order I thought the shapes that I got were perfect. Two of them were basically shaped the same, so if I had a choice I’d probably want a little more variety instead of two that look alike. The shape of the stone is what decides the picture/design I’m going to make on it. But I didn’t mind it to be honest. Would I recommend this to others? Absolutely. Will I purchase again? Damn straight.

I ordered 2 set of 3 in separate orders. One was a day late but still was here within 48 hours. That was fine as the at does happen. The stones are just the size I wanted. They are beautiful with the glitter going through them. They definitely need washed as suggested but I always wash my rocks before painting. I included a ruler in my picture and took it with the sun shining through a window. Sorry about the lines of shadows on them. I’m so happy I can’t wait to paint! My next purchase will be the 2-3.5 bag.

Dubble wrapped but one stone was broken. I loved the stones is it possible to get a replacement stone? I really love the unbroken stones great size cant wait to start painting on them.

I purchased these flat rocks to use one as a little headstone for my mouse that passed away. It came with 3 and they are very nice quality, easy to write on (i used paint markers i had for terra cotta pots). These would be so nice for crafts!! Perfect to paint on! They come packed very well. They are a little dusty and it says to just rinse them off and allow to dry. Very smooth surface.
