The media could not be loaded. I love riding my bicycle especially when I go camping. It’s even more fun when my furry friend gets to come along. Yet recently while riding, a rain storm came and I had to hurry back to my campsite. My poor Zoe was terrified. She kept trying to jump out and I am really scared that something terrible might happen. This led me to my search for a high quality and beautiful wicker basket that would provide safety for my pet yet stylish to compliment my e-bike. So, I purchased this beautifully crafted basket that arrived today. It was so easy to assemble and fits my e-bike wonderfully. My Zoe felt extremely safe and I love the quality. I love the wire cage above the basket because it protects Zoe from any flying debris and just adds that added protection for her. The basket is very stable and comes with two straps, one to harness Zoe and the other to wrap around the top rim of the bicycle. The basket disconnects for easy storage. I am so happy with this purchase. It is very evident that the Spang Gang Company cares about our furry friends. Thank you for keeping Zoe safe by creating a high quality basket.

Well-made basket. The price is on the higher side, but the quality is worth it. The basket secured well to the bike and remained in place. (We've had other dog baskets where the basket would loosen, and the bottom would hit the front tire). The lining is nice. Our dog is 15 lbs.

Super happy with this. My dog is about 13 pounds. You do have to be careful at first, and get the hang of having the dog’s weight on your handlebars. And you’ll need to have a place you can prop your bike up so it remains upright and stable while you put your pet in and take him out. It did take me a while to install. A person could do it by themselves but best to have a second person helping. My dog took right to it. Super pleased.

The media could not be loaded. Update: I tried to ride with this basket and both my dogs can get their head in between metal bars in lid. They taper, so they put their head in, then a bounce, then their head bounces into the narrower part of the taper...not good for my 3lb Chihuahuas. I've tried to fasten some barrier screen with zip ties but it doesn't hold. So unfortunately I cannot use basket for my dogs with lid. I'm not comfortable using without a barrier if some kind on top, so I must look for something else.Update: my husband mouted it with ease. I can unstrap the two front belts, tip the lid back, and let my dogs out, as they are very small. I have yet to ride, so I will update when I do.I'm so impressed upon unboxing this basket! I've already started getting the dogs used it on the floor, they seem to like it. I will update my review once I mount it. I compared lots of products prior to buying this and I must say, it is not flimsy on the bottom as some reviews suggested, the all-weather wicker is a tight weave and quite ridged. The fleece liner has elastic at the top and is very soft. I cannot wait to try on my ride. The only thing I see which may be hard for me, is that you must strap the cage on top...there doesn't seem to be a quick snap release or anything fast. Which I would prefer, but undoing 4 belts isn't the end of the world. I will be sure to give 5 stars if it installs as expected!

The media could not be loaded. I have a special needs kitty named Toph who is missing an eye an eye and can only see a little out of her other eye. So she’s been restricted to indoors only but with this basket I can take her outdoors and she loves it! This basket while it’s more pricy than other is made with quality and has great support. Toph’s safety is well worth the price. Plus I use it as a car seat and tote her around stores or to the vet in it.

Do not buy. The basket itself is beautiful. The hardware that connects it to the bicycle is junk. It can’t support the weight of the basket. I received replacement hardware hoping the initial hardware was poor quality by mistake. Then, the locking mechanism broke entirely. Poor quality and unusable as intended which is a shame because it looks nice. So disappointing.

I have a very plump Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she absolutely loves this bike mount. There is plenty of room for her (and she is CHONKY). and she just sticks her face out in the breeze with her ears flying out to the sides pretending she is queen of the world.Mounts super easy - we take it off when she's not riding with us. It's well made and very attractive.My other CKCS is deaf so is prone to motion sickness. We tried him in it, but he got car sick and vomited all over the basket - not a problem! The liner caught the whole mess and washed in the washer and dryer good as new!It may be a little pricey, but it's a well worth it little bike seat. The basket can be used for utility uses when the dog isn't in it.

I have a sturdy little Schnauzer that fits great in this basket. However, he is too heavy to ride in front. If he moves, it sends me off balance. I was going to return but I can tell you right now, it will cost you to return this and the instructions are crazy long, detailed and specific so you could stand a chance of losing over half of your cost, so I decided to keep it.. I’m upgrading my bike so will have a rack on the back and will try to mount it there, but there’s no options for that, so we have to wing it. For this price, an option would have been nice. It’s basically a nice basket with a liner and a cage on top. The cage could have smaller bars for littler dog noses, but my boy is not a poker, so I’m safe there. It attaches with fake leather buckles that are stiff not a quick release. Odd. My cage did not have a sun shade. I imagine it was in the box where someone commented that they got two? Ha! The basket IS very handsome and well made, just make sure it will work for you, your size, your bike and your balance.
