Harkness Roses, Rose Climbing Arthur Bell 3L or 4L Pot

Bought this in memory of one of my brothers. Nice size plant, seems to be doing okay, but would have been good if supplier had included growing instructions, or even a name label.

Bought this this year came very quick planty of roots on it and as taken very well flowers Bright yellow would but again but a different colour

Firstly, I'm no expert in roses but have grown them before. When this arrived (well packaged) it was literally a stick with one green shoot about an inch and a half long. That was the 16th March. I immediately re-potted it and mixed a sprinkling of magnesium salts into the compost. Took the photo posted today 21st April, so after a month of feeding and regular watering I have the beginnings of a climbing rosebush. My reason for three stars is that, for the money I paid, I'd have preferred something a bit more established.

I was so impressed with my rose, it wasn’t the dearest one on offer so I wasn’t expecting too much, but it arrived very quickly in lovely lush leafy condition, it was well potted in moist compost and when removed from pot had a good strong root ball. It has now been in the garden a couple of weeks and looks very happy.( If it dies now I’ll take full responsibility 😂) Thank you. I would highly recommend this seller after my experience.

the Arthur Bell rose arrived earlier than expected and in wonderful condition. I'm sure this rose will look beautiful in the location I have planned for it as it is such a healthy plant, thank you
