Perfect book wrap for all ordinary and smaller books, (without glue that ruin books).
This is 40 cm without glue and perfect for medium and smaller books as you can turn small books and use less plastic and so save on it. Also the thickness is perfect for ordinary size books, much like the one you get in bookstores in 3 meter length (which when you use must always throw away a litlle piece which is left over - but with this 25 m. length, that problem is avoided.) Get the 50 cm wrap for larger books - it is also thicker, at least the one I bought was. I am very glad for this wrap, and wish it could be gotten in 50 meters as well. You need to learn how to put this wrap with a few pieces of tape and by cutting of a piece in the middle, up and down after the plastic has been secured with two small pieces of tape inside the book cover - let go of 1 or 2 mm, so it is not too tight, you will notice why if you don't, then cut off a piece like a U, up and down too, so the plastic can be folded into the cover, push plastic into the corner, put tape on only plastic, not on book, then when done, remove the two small tapes that secured the plastic to the book while working with it. The two securing tapes can be touched with the fingers before to put them there as fingers are always oily, so they don't take paper off the book when you remove them. This takes two minutes to comlete when you know how to do it. I think you can figure out how to do it well. Just slack the plastic a bit when you attach the first two pieces of tape on the book and plastic, inside the long cover, in the middle. Cut off a bit up and down, fold in, fold more in the corners, put tape at the corners (inside the cover of the book of course). When done, remove the two first pieces of tape tht are attached to the book and would ruin the book if they stay, as glue gets sticky on the paper after a while. Done! This book will never become ugly.

Generally good quality but damaged while transit
I am generally satisfied with the product itself. Some customers mentioned that the plastic material is too thin, but I think it is just right. It serves its purpose well as book protection and book cover. The ease of use for covering various book cover sizes is excellent once you get the hang of it, and it offers great water and tear resistance. However, I have to note a significant issue with the packaging protection. The film arrived creased as shown in the photos I uploaded. This impacted the initial crease quality, meaning I had to waste the first section of the roll to obtain a smooth, usable piece. While the film is great for its intended use, the poor packaging meant the item was damaged in transit, which is disappointing. I strongly recommend using more protection to the product for transit purpose. On a side note, I found that per metre - 5m x 40cm is cheaper than 25m x 40cm. It certainly is good value for money compared to others.

Not perfect for the job, but economical
The film could be a little thicker. The film is quite slippery and is a little difficult to fold precisely at first. But after a little practice the effort improves. I have only used this film on covering the outer paper jacket of hardback, or hardcover, books. I am very pleased with the results. I would not like to try to cover a hardcover book without a paper jacket, nor a paperback book, with this slippery film. If the film were thicker it would provide a slightly better job and give more protection. This is the second roll of this film I have purchased. I think four stars is a fair appraisal. There are better products available, but at a greater price.

Too flimsy and does not hold a fold
Awful stuff, do not bother. Can not hold a fold, and just slips from around the books. Waste of money.

Good one
Quality is good, but please aware it is 2m long X 40cm, which means suitable for smaller prints.

Amazing cover for Dust jackets for hardbacks!
Okay I loved this, I was skeptical about buying this at first but I’m happy with the purchase. It’s good value for money, you can make this fit any of your books. The book in the video is a hardback with a dust jacket, I had tried to find book covers to cover my books but was struggling to find one the correct size so I thought I would give it a try. I personally chose to tape the inside of this plastic book cover to the inside of my dust jacket to protect them from wear and tear. I loved that I can easily cut and tape to make it fit any of my books.

Simple protective film
Not meant for paperbacks, but really for protecting dust jackets of hardbacks. With a decent quality (thick paper) jacket it is a bit fiddlly fitting it snugly but it isn't rocket science either. DO NOT stick into place using adhesive tape - it is completely unnecessary and may ultimately make a mess of the book. One particular word of caution - using some newsprint or similar, check what 40cm will cover before buying - it will cover a huge jacket if the jacekt is laid along the length of the roll, but will cover only very small books if using the width of the roll to cover the length of the jacket. This may make 40cm a poor buy as for many jackets it is either too narrow or too wide compared to a similar product at 50cm wide. 40cm wide is going to be a better fit more often than 50cm, for large or very large book jackets, placed along the length of the roll.
