Great light if you want something for normal use or modding.
Great light for the price. It's a clone of the Cree/Ultrafire Q5 lights and comes with a Cree XPE LED. Has three modes - low, high, strobe. It claims 300 lumens but with a Li-ion 14500 battery the max output is limited to 430mA which is around 140 Lumens at most on high setting and 30Lumens on low. Which is great for something this small and zoomed out can throw around 200m max on a Li-Ion.With a AA battery the brightness is nearly half and only can do a max of 80-90Lumens on high with 290-300mA power draw. The anodization is red and decent for what it is, occasional gaps but mostly fine and looks much better irl. The light has a aluminium pill with a MCPCB on top press fit from the top so if you want to remove the PCB you'll have to first pop out the Driver with a screwdriver and then push the PCB from the bottom after desoldering the wires.Works well as a host for a better LED. Has a 16mm MCPCB and a 15mm Driver which is limited to 450mA (isn't constant current but constant voltage)
