Good quality- great for home/beginner use!
Love this drill. I do my own gel x nails at home and this drill makes the job so much easier! It’s pretty simple to operate and the battery does last a long time. Can reach high speeds for quick removal and it’s compact design makes storing it practical. I wouldn’t say it’s really quiet, it just depends on the speed you work with. I’ve had mine for 3 years and it’s just now starting to give me issues so definitely a good value for the price in my opinion! I do my nails every 3-4 weeks so you can do the math on how often it’s been used lol I also used it to do other peoples nails from time to time. I’ll most likely be purchasing this model again to replace my current one

Customer Service is AMAZING!
I have been in the customer service area of work for over 10 years and when I voice myself to fix a lroduct or an order their initial response is always my “first impression” on how I believe things will go. As in will they help me or will i be left with unaswered concerns. Well!!!!! MelodySusie ya’ll just!! AAAAHHHH!!! Amaze me! I bought this specific drill back in October of last year (after mine of 5 years finally died lol) and it had only been about 3 months and the drill started giving issues. *Long story short the light on the screen wouldn’t turn off and it caused the drill to constantly be dying and not holding it’s charge* So I emailed them asking if there was some sort of instructions on how I could fix it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t something that I could do myself so they sent me a BRAND NEW DRILL!! I am so appreciative for them. I was even willig to just buy a new one (because I love their drills) but before even doing that they sent one to me right away. I received the shipped email a short while after and I am awaiting my new drill. I just want to say thank you again MelodySusie for your great customer service! I hope this helps anyone if you’re debating whether or not to buy it☺️

AMAZING NAIL DRILL!!
This nail drill is AMAZING! The quality of this is great! The pink color is honestly my favorite and the speeds it has works great for beginners who may not want to work the drill too fast at first! It removes nail color and acrylic so well and the pieces for the nail drill are all you need to get the best at home manicure! I’ve used this thing so many times and haven’t had any problems with over heating or causing heat to my nails! I am still a beginner so I’m sure there’s lots to learn but I’m so happy I bought this!

Good beginner drill, some issues experienced, but overall gets the job done.
This is a good starter/beginner drill. It gets the job done and a full charge lasts me a month doing my own nails, idk how this would hold up for a professional setting where you have 7-10 clients a day. I do like it, but there are a few things that are bothering me. For some reason my drills lowest rpm is 03, when I turn it on, it comes on at 03, it doesn’t go any lower than that. Also sometimes I’ll be on a certain rpm and it will just go up to the next rpm speed by itself and a few times it kept going back and fourth. Like it was on 05 and that’s what I had put it on and it kept going up to 06 rpms by itself and then back down to 05 and then back up to 06. It will do that sometimes no matter what speed I’m going which is annoying. I saw their new brushless motor, sparkle pro and the hand piece is half the size of what this one is. I’d love to test that one out compared to this one but with the weird issues I’ve been having with this one, idk if I could see myself spending $150 on a drill that might do the same weird things this one does, when I could put that $150 into a pro drill like from Kiara Sky or Young Nails and do a payment plan. Also I submitted 3 pictures of the nail set I did with the drill. They are hard gels, the color is the Light Elegance Cosmetic Pink Builder Gel with Presto Top Gel on top. I hate when ppl post pics of their nails and don’t list the color and exact products used! Irks my nerves!

Great customer service support.
I’m not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this, since most of the reviews here are very positive. I purchased this drill last November, and it worked great at first. However, this summer I started noticing issues with the battery. It now loses charge much faster than before—I used to charge it every two weeks, but now I have to recharge it every three days, even though my usage hasn’t changed. Update: I was able to reach to customer support and Mako was able to help me resolve it. I’m concerned that the battery is wearing out in less than a year. I also noticed that the drill stalls at around 1200 RPM, which never happened before. On top of that, I couldn’t find any way to contact the seller through Amazon to address these issues

Not bad for a first nail drill
I’ve purchased 2 of these drills and haven’t gotten more than 9 months out of them. They are great when they are actually working but both of the hand pieces stopped working around the 9 month mark. I used mine almost everyday since I was in nail school when I got my first one, and now am a professional nail tech, so it wasn’t a great option on my end to choose not to invest in something higher quality and better suited for my work. However, I’ve heard it’s not uncommon for this drill to stop working after around a year anyway. I also noticed it got really noisy and would vibrate a ton on and off after a few months of use, and it would get hot if you did use ~20krpm+ (typically necessary when doing soak offs) It’s compatible with most drill bits I’ve used and got the job done when needed, but definitely is better suited for non-professionals who don’t care as much about longevity, vibration, noise, and durability.
