Q: Do you need charcoal starters?

No charcoal starters required. Excellent incense!! I also recommend the Rosicrucian Four Roses Incense (no charcoal required).

Q: I thought these were incense sticks but I got them and see they're cubes. Can anyone please tell me how to use them (light them)?

Hi David,You will need to buy a pack of charcoal for incense that is sold in new age type stores or on amazon. The charcoal cost about @2.75 a pack. You will light the charcoal and put the cube on it, cone the charcoal is completed heated. You don't want to use the charcoal for a grill because that is not the correct type of charcoal for the incense. You can burn the incense by itself, but it will burn out very quickly and the aroma doesn't last long.If you use the charcoal, the aroma is heavily and will last a long while. I have used this incense for more than 35 years. It is one of the best.

Excellent! 45 yrs ago I used this from the Rosicrucian Order. I let my membership go after having children, but have always loved this incense and just assumed I could never get it again. When I contacted the Rosicrucian Order recently, they advised me that it could be purchased on Amazon.
