New Wash (RICH) Hair Cleanser 8oz + Scalp Brush - Extra Moisturizing cleanser & conditioner

I don't normally review products but I am so stunned by what a difference this product has made to my hair. I have been a LONG time DevaCurl user, and I was pretty happy with how their products left my hair, which is curly (3a), coarse, color-treated, middle aged and dry! A friend whose hair had been looking really healthy told me she had been using this so I figured, why not. I had no idea how much better my hair could look and - equally important - feel! it is somehow both cleaner feeling and way softer than when I was using Deva. Deva sometimes left my hair feeling a little pasty or like there was residue, and New Wash just leaves my hair bouncy, shiny, healthy and soft. It feels like it did 20 years ago. I didn't realize your hair could feel YOUNG! Highly recommend for curly hair.

New Wash was recommended to me spring 2019. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, that I have kept "natural", not using any harmful chemical treatments or products other than shampoo & occasionally conditioner, but my hair was becoming drier & frizzy unless I used a "hot-iron" which I was concerned would harm my hair. Trying to find the best option for me, I first tried "regular" Hair Wash & noticed immediate improvement, following the instructions exactly, making sure all was washed out. There was a lot of hair loss, dime size "clumps" of it, but I figured that was just part of my hair adapting to a new product. After using New Wash for awhile, my hair returned to dry & frizzy. So I tried Rich. Again, immediate improvement, but the hair loss continued. I wasn't concerned yet. Then the Rich became too "heavy", leaving my hair limp & lifeless. I returned to the regular again, and that worked for a few times, but then my hair became limp & lifeless like the Rich had done. So I decided to try the New Wash (Deep). Again, my hair texture was good, but hair loss still continued. As Deep became too drying, I would switch between the products to try to keep my hair smooth & bouncy. Comments by family at Christmas had me looking closely in a mirror & I noticed how much thinner my hair seemed to be, and realized I could see scalp throughout my hair, where I never had before. All this hair loss I've been having for 6+ months, it seems wasn't being replaced with new hair!!!! I checked reviews on Amazon & found this is not an uncommon problem. Through those reviews, I discovered other no-shampoo products and the term co-wash. Searching through all the options and reading reviews, I discovered LuxeOrganix and their products. The first time I used it, the hair loss was minimal. The next and following times, no hair loss!!! I decided to do an experiment, and tried New Wash again...Hair loss was excessive. I returned to LuxeOrganix and have been using it faithfully now for weeks, with little-to-no hair loss!! I don't know what is in your products to cause such hair loss (hopefully not permanent!!!), but I certainly wanted to warn others that your products could cause harm.

I adore oil-based cleansers for my skin and wanted this to work for my dry and colored hair that requires tons of product to tame frizz after every wash. I needed a half bottle to coat my hair!It was the same result as most other shampoos, and the cost is obscene!!

Not sure that it will deliver what it promises but like the product so far.

I have REALLY bad hair, it is dry, thin, frizzy, and limp curls. I use really high quality products and my hair has come a long way in the past few years, but I have to use 6 products to keep it looking okay. Recently, my stylist gave me a sample of New Wash and told me that it would change my life! After trying it, I think it may have!! So I quickly ordered more of the New Wash Rich and also some Hair Balm and my hair has NEVER in almost 40 years been this easy to style, which is a BIG deal! I wash with the the Rich and then style with some Balm and my hair magically has weight on the ends and volume at the roots and in the layers framing my face. I've been looking for something easy forever and until now, that meant a top knot, but now I can actually wear my hear down for days. I just comb it with a wide-tooth comb and spray with a little rose water, add more Balm to the dry spots and ends and then my waves and curls look bouncy and fresh! Thank you soooo much Hairstory! I have always been self conscious about my hair and this past week I actually feel like my hair looks great and so therefore I feel great.

Absolutely the best hair wash I have ever used, too bad that the company is having design issues with the bottle packaging... As informed by the company they are currently working on solving the problem. Wish they would have informed on their website or here on amazon letting customers know about this issue before purchasing. I had to return the bottle due to this issue because I had to travel and the bottle creates leaking issue since New Wash bottle would not be sealed properly for flights. I will definitely look up on their original regular wash which comes with pump bottle. Gonna go checkout their website for other purchasing options.Why I love this hair wash:I have fine and thin brittle hair. After about 3 washes / third day, I noticed my hair started to have this incredible shine and body from hydration!! After a long flight, my hair ( with out any hair products) still has great lift and bounce! Before using New Wash, my hair was so lifeless and would not hold the styling. But now, I got my nice natural waves & shine back. The friend recommended this product is a hairstylist told to make sure that I don’t wash my hair with other harsh shampoos as they will stripe away all the “hydration” I have been feeding my hair with New Wash.

Didn’t seem like authentic stuff. Smells horrible. Does not deep clean. Leaves hair sticky and greasy.

I am a guy with very thick salt and pepper gray hair with some waves and a cowlick in the back. Seasonally, I occasionally suffer from dry scalp. I’ve been using New Wash for years to tame my hair. And, when Rich came out, I switched to that to help with the dry scalp. I love the product and it’s all I use. My thick hair is manageable (I just use my fingers to comb it) and my scalp is super healthy. I no longer use regular shampoo and don’t even use dandruff control shampoo during the season changes. Love it!!
