Relaxing Scent; Smells Like Lavender
I do have lavender plants that I grew myself. You don't need to crush the leaves; just brushing your hand against the plant will give you a fleeting lavender scent on your hands. This essential oil smells like my hands do after I give my plants a good caress. Other lavender oils have a sort of juicy quality to their scent? I'm not sure how to describe it, but that's not how my plants smell, and it's not what I expect from a lavender scent. For that reason, this has become my favorite lavender oil of the ones I've ever purchased. It's very relaxing, and it works great in a diffuser. It also blends well with their Eucalyptus oil to give a refreshing, relaxing scent.

Pure, relaxing lavender oil that smells amazing
This lavender oil has become one of my favorite staples at home. The scent is soft and soothing without being too strong, and it feels clean and natural. I use it in my diffuser before bed, sometimes in the bath, and even on wool dryer balls for laundry. It creates such a calm and refreshing atmosphere. The bottle is a generous size and lasts a long time since a little goes a long way. The quality feels consistent, and it blends well with other oils too. Tip: add a few drops to your pillow before bedtime for a relaxing night’s sleep.

Quality oil for great price
I am very pleased with this lavender oil. It blends well in my tallow based skin care I make and the scent is long lasting. Other oils I used previously, the scent faded quickly from the cremes. It may seem pricey to some, but it is a large jar with a dropper and seems very pure. It will last quite a while.

Soothing fragrance, but not strong enough.
It's okay, but the fragrance is very mild with an air diffuser. Although the fragrance is good, it just isn't strong enough for a diffuser. But this could be an inherited trait to Lavender. Peppermint has a much stronger fragrance with the air diffuser. *** UPDATE January 6, 2017 I discovered a new use for this wonderful oil quite by accident while researching another topic on Google and Youtube. I have been using computers on a daily use since I was a kid back in 1977. That is 40 years of having my eyes in front of computer screens. I suffer from severe dry-eyes and over the last 16 years, I have seen many optimologist for my condition. These doctors have prescribed many kinds of artificial tears, some thicker and denser than others. Even eye ointments that I found difficult to use. I even tried prescription Restasis eye drops but none of these treatments gave me lasting relief. My dry-eye condition has gotten much worse recently that I have lost interest in reading and using the computer because the pain in my eyes has become unbearable. I decided to look into homeopathic remedies and see what they had to offer. I had nothing to lose since the pharmaceutical I have used in the past failed to help. I read that cold pressed, cold processed Castor Oil has worked well for many other suffers from dry-eye syndrome. I ordered some from Amazon along with eye dropper bottles. To my enjoyment, I found Castor Oil works extremely well and far better than the pharmaceutical my doctors prescribed. Castor Oil keeps my eyes hydrated better than artificial tears and for a lot longer. But why do I mention the benefits of Castor Oil in a review of Radha Lavander essential Oil? While searching the benefits of Castor Oil I came across information about Lavander Oil's anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial therapeutic properties and soothing properties. Well, I was lucky I had Lavander oil in the house because my original intent was to use it with an air diffuser to add fragrance into my home. Lucky me that I did not have to wait for the UPS man to deliver it since it was already in my home. After reading how to use it, I use Castor Oil as a carrier oil and I added two to three drops of Lavander Oil in a one-ounce eye dropper bottle. I mixed it up and put an eye drop in each eye. I just have to say simply, WOW, what a difference! Adding the Lavander oil smooths the painful irritation of dry eyes while the Castor oil keeps my eyes hydrated by trapping my own natural tears from evaporating. I find myself reading books again without the discomfort I had before. My eyes are much more comfortable now and combining Castor and Lavander Oils works better and is significantly cheaper than Systane Ultra and Tera Tears artificial tears. If you suffer from dry eyes, I encourage you to do your own research into Castor and Lavander Oils as a homeopathic remedy. Also, research Tea Tree essential oil for treating dry-eyes due to microscopic Demodex folliculorum mites in eye-lashes. But Tea Tree oil should not be used directly on the eyes unlike Castor, but only applied to the eyelash roots with a q-tip. I hope my experience helps someone else who also suffer from this eye disease so I took a little time to write about my experience in my review of this wonderful product. I have increased my rating to 4 stars from three.

Fresh Air Scent With So Many Uses
Many people have told me that if I were to get any essential oils, I needed the basic 3...Peppermint, Lemon and Lavender. I have had opportunities to receive the peppermint and lemon, but never the lavender. Well, it was beyond time to get the lavender. In doing my research, I decided that Radha had the best pricing and quality that I was looking for. I knew I would want the 4 oz. size, and Radha fit my bill. I was looking for therapeutic grade, as my understanding this is top quality in eo. I especially like their 100% guarantee. "If you are not completely satisfied, simply contact us and we will give you a full refund, no questions asked!" I couldn't go wrong. The other thing I liked is that they provided a glass dropper. I know there are various types of lavender oil, but this one from Bulgaria is what I personally needed. It seems one of the major differences between French and Bulgarian lavender oil is the scent. Since I had not tried lavender oil before, I thought it best to start with the more earthy herbaceous scented one, the Bulgarian. However, I won't rule out the French variety at some future point. Prior to receiving my order, I had purchased some glycerin scented soap. My husband really loved the scent of this soap. Neither of us recognized the scent. Once we received the Lavender eo, we knew exactly what the soap scent was...lavender. Now I can scent our own homemade soap with something I know my hubby will like. In the meantime, we both find the lavender very useful when we are stressed to place a little on a cotton pad, and place it on our pillows. It calms us down, relaxes us and helps us sleep so much better. I like using it in hot baths after a hard day out in the yard. It helps my muscles relax and not be so sore afterwards. We also place drops on our air filters, so we have the lavender scent throughout our house. And of course, we use it in our diffusers. We both like this smell as it isn't so perfume like in smell, but gives our home a nice almost fresh air scent. We highly recommend this product, and when we run out, will certainly buy from this company again. Absolutely the finest Lavender
I absolutely adore this Lavender oil! After experimenting with numerous brands, I can confidently say this one stands out as the finest. The aroma is intoxicating, with a rich and delightful scent that fills the space beautifully. What's even more impressive is how long the fragrance lingers; it envelops you in its calming embrace for hours on end. Plus, the price is incredibly reasonable considering the exceptional quality and generous quantity of this exquisite oil. I've ordered it several times now, and I plan to keep doing so unless, by some miracle, I come across something that surpasses it.

I'm a Believer in Radha
I am a longtime user of NOW essential oils, as they are extremely high quality and safe to use. They are not the most affordable but I know that quality costs. When I saw the cost of this lavender oil I thought for certain that the level of quality could not match that of the NOW brand but I wanted to try it, especially since I had purchased Radha's fractionated coconut oil and absolutely love it. This oil arrived well packaged and had a glass dropper. I did note that other reviewers complained that the plastic portion of the glass dropper has melted and disintegrated after using it for awhile, but knowing that essential oils can damage plastic, I knew enough not to leave the dropper in the bottle. I use the dropper only to remove oil from the bottle but I store it separate from the bottle and use the black cap to keep the bottle sealed. The scent of this oil is a bit different from the scent of NOW oil, but I know that different species of lavender plant will have different scents. This scent is absolutely wonderful. It is soft, romantic, and very appealing. I use a few drops in the cup of my humidifier and the scent goes through my entire house. A few drops goes a very long way. I love this oil and appreciate that it comes in such a large size at such a great price point. I especially appreciate the dropper, as it makes using the oil much easier than having to constantly shake a bottle until you get the desired amount. It was not only the quality of this product, it was the inclusion of the dropper and the great price that has me switching over from NOW to Radha. So now I am investigating Radha's other products and recent purchased her Vitamin C serum. I will review it after using it for a month or so.

Inconsistent. Some camphor
Edit: the first bottle that I ordered was great. When I ran out and we ordered the second bottle I received smelled off and more like tea tree. I contacted and they sent me a new bottle for free. That bottle over smelled off. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it smelled more like tea tree oil than lavender. I ordered a different brand this time and smells like lavender oil should. I also ordered a bottle of rosemary oil with the ingredients listed as containing camphor. Mystery solved. That is exactly what the Rhada lavender oil smelled like - Camphor. It's probably mixed in Rhoda lavender to some degree. When they get to a certain point in the bottling process, the lavender and camphor separate so some bottles probably contain more camphor while others have more lavender. Not sure if I will order Rhada again. I had two bottles of Rhada frankincense that were great. The next two bottles of Rhada frank I ordered didn't smell as good. =/ changed rating from 5* down to 3* Original: (was 5*) I read a lot of reviews of lavender oil before selecting this brand. For comparison, Radha's resembles the scent of Dr Bronner's Lavender soap. Some reviews noted hints of "pine-sol" or camphor, which is likely due to the green notes of Bulgarian lavender. French lavender has a similar herby smell with sweeter notes. The difference is due to the altitude at which both varieties of Lavendula angustifolia are grown. After placing a couple of clear drops on my pillow the oil evaporated leaving no trace aside from the soothing aroma. The oil is definitely potent. I mix with a carrier such as coconut oil or jajoba for body use which tones down the intensity. This will be my everyday lavender oil for numerous applications including aromatherapy, body & face, and diy natural cleaning agents. I will probably invest in a small assortment of organic essential oils, which include a French lavender. However, those will be "special occasion" aromatherapy oils and will not be used in applications like cleaning solution or detergent. The affordable price and high quality of Radha Bulgarian Lavender oil will make this my go-to. Shipped in a box within a box. The bottle is sealed, and the dropper packaged with it is bubble wrapped. I was first drawn to Radha brand because of the numerous positive reviews, low cost, and cobalt blue bottle. Purchased Radha jojoba oil and it was of similar high quality. Lovely.
