I've only used this once so far. The shipping was super fast! I followed the directions that came with it. I made my baking soda solution & had it ready, cleaned my face & applied as directed. I was probably only able to leave it on for 2 1/2-3 min. I was starting to itch. I then applied the soda & it sizzled which was fascinating, rinsed & applied aloe vera for cooling then a moisturizer.I did have a few spots that seemed to scab. It did say that it could make acne worse but then get better. I've noticed mine got a little bit worse but not too bad. I did this on Thursday and it is now Monday, my skin is still a little sensitive.Overall I'd say it's working just fine. Can't wait to do the 2nd application.12/10/2014 UPDATESo I have been using this for about 6 months. Technically I should be out but I don't use it as often as I should, I'm lazy. I really like it though. When I do use it consistently, 3/4 times a month, I notice a huge difference! I have "anger" lines, the elevens between my eyebrows (I didn't have them until I became a mother) and they fade so much. Love that! My skin is even in tone, I have less acne and its smooth.This last application, I like to shower after I use it so my skin is super wet, I took my zit popping tool and literally pressed it against my whole face. I pressed out any black head, or potential white head I could. It was awesome. Since my skin was so wet and fresh, the peel had "eaten" the top layers, everything was so easy to press out. It sounds like I have a ton of acne, but really I don't. haha Mainly this was my T zone. But because of the product I could actually remove the junk without much effort. This morning, my skin looks good. I can see in my chin, especially, that I have fewer black heads.I have also purchased the 70% from this company, but I wanted to use all the 50% and work up to it. I can handle the 50% for a little longer, about 5 minutes. It stings but mainly its itchy. I still scab but usually only on the tip of my nose. Its usually gone in a couple days and it doesn't bother me since I'm not a working mom. I always plan my peels around my schedule. I don't do them if I have something in the next couple days. I try to not wear makeup for those 2 days so I can peel and heal. This is way more affective than any exfoliater I've ever used. It removes a ton more layers which is what I was looking for. I still use an exfoliater but well after I've used the peel. Like at least 5 days or more later.

I use a cotton ball to apply bc the paintbrush allows the acid to drip into your eyes… after applying I immediately set my timer for 5 min, the last minute get spicy, then I neutralize with a large bowl of ice water. After dunking my face in ice water for 5-10 min, I apply aloe Vera with lidocaine.Very minimal burning and no redness. I do this every Sunday.I’ve worked my way up from 20% to 50%… ALL AGE SPOTS have faded and my skin looks like I’m 25 again. I use a heavy Eucerin as an overnight moisturizer. Never felt so glam barefaced!!! 10⭐️s Ps, I’m 44 and have Melasma from pregnancy and olive skin.

Wow! I just used this lovely product for the 1st time less than 5 mins ago so if your wanting results of product come back in 3-5 weeks I’ll fill ya in but as of right now all I can tell you is that burn is like no other more so on my face right now since I stupidly added this straight after shaving my bro area and around my eyebrows because I was too lazy to pluck this week! I can say with most confidence hands down Worst decision of my life thus far.. and that says a lot! Don’t do that that is stupid! Boy I tell u what! The brush lightly went a cross my face and BOOM! It was like the devil himself decided to smash jalapenos on my face 😱🔥🥵 I screamed so loud my DEAF neighbor came to check on me to see if I was ok! Lord have mercy don’t do what I did I will try this again new week without the mini shave session before hand fingers crossed it don’t hurt nearly as bad as this round bc if so I’ll keep my wrinkles / dead skin forget that!

I purchased this peel along with the 30% salicylic one from the same company. I was very disappointed after visiting my plastic surgeon's office for a consult for a laser peel, microdermabrasion and possible filler. I was instead talked into a series of chemical peels. The formulation she used was 30% glycolic and 10% salicylic. It did NOTHING and cost me $100 a pop. And that was after being told to leave it on my skin for 8 hours!I used the salicylic first. I was able to leave it on for only 3 minutes. I had no redness to my skin after a couple hours (only turned slightly pink). The next day I had some peeling but no tightness or sensitivity. My skin seemed so much clearer and I have not had any breakouts since. I did follow this up with the glycolic peel 7 days later. I was able to leave this one on for 6 minutes. It burned much less than the salicylic one. I had zero redness. The next day, the peeling began. Nothing extreme, but definitely getting the results I was looking for. I am 4 days out from the second peel and I am still flaking. No redness, no discoloring of my skin. Most importantly, no breakouts, less oil and the fine lines around my eyes are softened.I will continue to rotate each week from the glycolic to salicylic. Will definitely buy this again!

I'm in my early 30's and a compulsive "picker"- I pick at my face all the time. I was recently having some bouts with breakouts and was looking for a solution. I had gotten a free sample of Glytone (a glycolic-based moisturizer) in the mail and it seemed to help a little bit. I researched the glycolic peels, and they're supposedly safer than others- so I decided to give it a whirl. The first photos (wearing the blue shirt) are a maybe a day after I applied my first treatment... I looked like I got into a scrappy fight with someone... The second ones (with the headband on) are immediately after my treatment a week later. There's a vast improvement in the softness and tone of my skin. What I found is that this stuff re-visits and re-surfaces old "skin traumas" from the past. I got a bit more acne in the beginning, and old spots that I had torn my face up like 10 years ago re-appeared (like the spot on my chin). My skin seems to heal quicker and cycle faster than it ever has, which is pretty cool. I found that using the Cetafil lotion is gentle and fulfills the sunscreen requirement.. Although IT IS NOT AN OVERNIGHT FIX, it is worth it...
