Hardy rose!
This rose is amazing. It’s like they grafted weed genes into the rose bush. Arrives small, but 4 years later it’s grown over a 12’ pergola. Maybe 15’ high now. I got 3 more of them to cover the rest of the back wall 2 years ago.

Amazing healthy plant! Worth the price!
I bought this Heirloom climbing rose from Amazon late into the season when I couldn’t find pretty ones in the local nurseries. The plant came neatly packed with planting and care instructions provided. Initially I was disappointed with the size of the plant for the price I paid. I decided to give it a chance and see how the blooms were.Once transplanted, the climber grew prolifically and produced buds. It almost seemed like they weren’t growing given how impatient I was! I became a fan as soon as I saw how disease resistant the plant was and the icing on the cake is that it is thornless! After dealing with extremely thorny and sawfly larvae infested rose varieties, this rose climber became my favorite! The blooms speak for themselves. Can’t wait for this plant to grow over my arbor next year!

What a TROOPER!
I have never had roses. I don’t like the everblooming varieties everywhere. My daughter got this for me for Mothers Day. This particular cultivar was so romantic and lovely, but I was worried I’d just kill it.It was VERY happy upon arrival, and immediately began putting on new foliage. But then two weeks later the DEER ATE IT! Every.last.leaf. I was devastated! I put a metal cloche over it and watched it daily. The photo I posted is about a week and a half AFTER the deer attack!!! It even has a little bud!! I am so relieved that it didn’t die and that it seems like such a happy, hardy cultivar. I am so pleased!EDIT: photos of the first bloom, just a week or so after this review!

Healthy plant
Arrived early and in good shape but without any foliage. Within the first 2 days of planting, it has developed several leaves and appears to be thriving.

The plants are relatively small
This plant is so small, I hope it can thrive and I can see it bloom soon.

We gifted this beautiful rose to newlyweds who love to garden. I’m confident that the high quality of this rose will grow lush and strong and will produce gorgeous roses for many years. We’re looking forward to seeing photos of the roses next year. This is a great wedding gift, would make a great gift for many occasions.
