This vinegar and a deep rich umami flavor, it's excellent and the only vinegar I use for my salads. Tremendously cheaper than balsamic, but with a flavor profile equally deep. I love it.

i have to make my own black bean sause and this is a must :"basalmic just doesn't have even a close enoughtaste " . i realy like the amazon selection of sellers for Authentic foods .

I got this to replace my 3 year aged vinegar from the same brand I got from the store. Unfortunately this five year aged one is thin, more sour and less sweet and less complex than the three year, making it seem like it’s younger than the three year one…

This vinegar has a distinct rich/tart/ umami black-strap molasses flavor. It pairs beautifully with Coconut aminos or soy sauce and hot oil. This is a great flavor profile to add to fried rice, sticky rice, ramen pad tai.

I am experimenting with different vinegar's of the world in cooking and have found several which I keep on hand. This one, however, was way too strong with an overpowering flavor of Soy & very salty. Not sure I would classify it as vinegar though because whatever is usually used to flavour the vinegar should only elude a mild trace to the vinegar; whereas in this case is not the case. Way too overpowering. However, if you absolutely love Soy Sause and Salt you may enjoy this product.

Used in recipe for soy sauce" dip". Arrived promptly and was in a well-sealed bottle. Food made with this was excellent.
