These are the absolute best Baklawa and assorted pastries I’ve ever had, despite being packaged and sent. Family loved them and definitely will order again (and frequently).

Absolutely delicious! Shatila makes the best baklava. I only buy baklava from them. I've been eating their bakery since I was a teenager and I m retired now. I prefer Lebanese baklava more than Greek because Greeks make it with honey which is a little too heavy and sweet. Lebanese make it with rosewater syrup and if you haven't tasted that, then you're really missing out.

I've had a hankering for some good quality baklava for the last few months. I had a fb ad pop up on my feed a while ago for authentic Syrian baklava made in Syria through a company called Anoush. They were decent, but these Shatila pastries absolutely blow them out of the water. In comparison, these tasted fresher and the pieces were larger. I was really surprised by how big this box is, it's a really good value, especially considering how high quality these are! Usually when I buy specialty food items on Amazon, I realize I'm going to pay a premium to have something I can't get locally. Not so with these. Very generous portions of high quality pastries. I will definitely be buying these again. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see some different flavors(rosewater for example) in the assortment.

as an Arab I would honestly say it is not as fresh as if I got it from the bakery , but still surprisingly fresh enough to enjoy it ! nice collection , the packaging is so beautiful and they added a small bag of grounded pistachio for presentation which I totally loved ! and the collection is big enough for big parties and so

So, I'm a bit biased, being from Detroit and having the best of Middle Eastern cuisine close to home. Shatila is known in Detroit as the best Middle Eastern bakery in the area, and is specifically known for its dozens of varieties of baklava, which are all delicious. This variety pack may seem overpriced, but believe me, you will not be disappointed by the taste or quality of this incredible tray of goodies! Perfect for your next office or family get-together, there is plenty of deliciousness to go around! You will NOT be disappointed!

We were given these as a gift and so good we ended up sending to a friend for Christmas . Like that they freeze well too . A large amount and great variety .

The baklava was good but not as moist as other years. It seemed to have less honey. I have ordered in the past directly from Shatila so that maybe the difference. Some pieces are very dry and crumbly.

This was given as a gift a few months ago and was so good, I placed another order for my daughter’s birthday. So sweet and delicious! If you are a fan of Middle Eastern pastries and desserts you will enjoy this!
