There was a brief time when Lavilin was unavailable. It’s the best deodorant on the planet; light, fresh scent and above all actually works 100%. My underarm area never feels moist or sticky, UGH. And that’s the test for outdoors in the Caribbean sunshine.

Oh gosh, this product was a DISASTER for me. Here are the specific reasons:- The smell is pretty unpleasant. It's not a product that you open and go "wow - this smells nice!"- It's super dribbly - it's the only deodorant I've ever had that has dribbled down my arm. It's just a really unpleasant feeling to have a cold, sticky liquid dribbling.- It doesn't work. For me, it wasn't at all effective. It may work for others, but for me it didn't work at all. And I stuck with it for weeks and weeks (like, 6 weeks), hoping that my body would get used to it. Instead, I had the worst B.O. of my life, it was dreadful. And I had wet pits on a regular basis, which I know doesn't bother some people, but for me was really distracting and unpleasant.I really, really wanted to like this product. So much so that when another retailer failed to deliver after 6 weeks (despite me having Amazon Prime) I then reordered from this retailer. I had read great things about this product, and was excited about trying it out. Then I stuck with it for almost 2 months, following all the directions to this letter. Finally, after I threw in the towel I ordered a different organic deodorant, and it's working extremely well.I know that people's body chemisteries are different, so maybe this would work well for someone else. But for me, it was really ineffective and unpleasant.

I recently became an all-natural deodorant user, and after doing a lot of research and trying other products, this one works the best!Pros:- Despite the fact that I've had to change my routine (which was annoying at first since I was used to just slapping on deodorant in the morning - see 'cons' below), this product works the best. It actually does last for about 3 days - even after I went to an intense TRX workout class and was dripping sweat, then the same day went to a dance class for 1.5 hours and was again sweating hard. Without even rinsing out my pits, the next day or so I didn't smell AT ALL - I even made my roommate do a whiff test.- The roll-on feature is great, since it makes the application mess-free. I've used other natural deodorants that require using your fingers to wipe it on, which isn't my favorite since that was just annoying for my morning routine, and especially as a lady with long nails and getting the product stuck underneath (ew).- The fragrance is very neutral, and fresh. Can definitely be used by men or women.Cons:- It did require changing up my routine a bit, since you're supposed to put it on clean/dry armpits before you go to bed so that it soaks in completely.- Similarly, you can't really use it in the morning. I've tried a few times, and the product definitely is not as effective (plus it takes a few minutes to soak in, so you can't put it on and then immediately get dressed. That doesn't annoy me, but probably depends on your particular routine and how flexible you are).Tips: LADIES - don't put it on right after shaving, because most likely it will aggravate your skin and create red bumps, redness and/or a slight rash (this is specified in the directions). However, this also happened with other all-natural products I've tried as well. I've shaved in the morning and then put this on at night, and don't get any irritation.

I have been purchasing this deodorant for years. Trying to find an aluminum free deo that works is hard. I've tried many, many others that don't work ( working outside in the heat or stress sweat ). Many feel thick, or have a perfumey smell on top of not giving lasting odor protection. This is my absolute favorite. It's light, has a very clean, pleasant smell, and works better than the others- including lume.If I am going to be in a large crowd of people in a pleasant environment all day, I will revert back to an antiperspirant just to be safe, but this Lavilin is the best the other 98% of the time.

I get smelly within minutes of getting out of the shower if I do not apply something asap -and I tried non aluminum , toms, natures gate, crystal -both the rock and liquid, soft & dri, and a nano silver product and also a home made coconut oil and baking soda concoction.I gave up on natural and went to aluminum and tried arm n hammer, degree, dove, secret tropical and secret 48 hourThe secret 48 hour and the non aluminum soft and dri worked best -- lasting only few hours before I began to wreak again.The home made recipe and silver worked good but both gave me terrible deep sores and rash. degree and toms were the biggest failures for my chemistry.I now carry alcohol wipes and the deodorant in my purse is lavalin.I'm not sure how the re apply is meant to be done - the instructions are not clear-I clean my pits first- before applying or re-applying--I am assuming if I am stinky- I would be contaminating the deodorant with the bacteria that is causing the smell if I didn't disinfect the pits first.
