It’s great, definitely worth it. 3 years and they’re still good :)
This thing was ABSOLUTEY amazing for music festivals! My ex and I strapped these to the outside of the tent, reflective side out, and it kept us from getting warm inside the tent in the hot summer heat. Literally 20 degrees cooler in our tent than anywhere else at that moment. They’re thick which is nice .Also they hold up, it went through like 2-3 rainstorms windy, and (one ripped off (string snapped, not the tarp thing) flew down one of the aisles) and is awesome still. But we fold them up and after 3 years ofMusic festivals (roughly 6 a year) and eventually they get little holes in the things where they are folded too much.. other than that? If you don’t buy these, you’re wasting your money. (Won’t really work as a blanket tho too well, thicker)

Nice tarp, pathetic stakes...
I keep this tarp in my car in case of emergencies. The tarp itself seems well made and robust serving triple duty as a thermal blanket/shelter, signaling device and a work tarp. I would not describe it as "exceptional," but certainly better quality than others I've seen. The one major pitfall to this product is the stakes that come with this tarp are PATHETIC. They are about 3" long and perhaps 1/8" round diameter made out of a cheap, flimsy plastic. There isn't even a flat end in which to drive them into hard ground if need be. The stakes will serve absolutely no purpose. In fact, I laughed and threw them out at first sight, but not before I took a photo to document their insignificance. If you wanted to stake your tarp out on a sandy beach, these stakes would probably not break when you drive them in, but they would offer no hold-down abilities due to their short length and small round diameter. Toothpicks would be a more accurate descriptor than "stakes."I paid a bit more for this tarp because of the included "stakes," because I thought they might come in handy for pinning down a work mat if I needed to change a tire on the side of the road, or worst case scenario, set up an emergency shelter/signaling flag. However, since the stakes were so deplorable and do nothing to contribute to the tarp's abilities, I gave this SE Thermal Blanket three stars for the price.

Worked Great.
i coincidently bought this about a month before the Texas Freeze of February 2021. i nailed it up over a doorway in the room i had my fireplace and the Fireplace room was about 65F degrees. the rest of the house was 47F. so i'd say it worked pretty well, even when not technically using it as designed. lol

Heavy material and well made!
This is a very well made, heavy duty blanket! The material is one unit, not a flimsy foil side and a heavier orange side. Highly recommend; you won’t be disappointed! I wish it came in black or blue just to switch up the colors.

These blankets are amazing. Seriously
These blankets are amazing. Seriously. They reflect a crazy amount of heat back at you, and they're huge. You can make a tent with them. You can use them at the flooring for a tent. You can bring them with you to a theater because your wife gets cold easily...but you have to make sure that she opens it before the movie starts, because they make a BIT of noise when you use them because of the foil. With that said though, If you're looking for a reflective blanket that also doubles as a tarp and is extremely resilient, (seriously these things can take a beating for ages), get one of these. Get one of these for everyone you know, and an extra one for you.

Purchased for use at our Food Pantry. These blankets work well for transporting food.

good sturdy blanket
good sturdy blanket. I used it hammock camping and it did it's job in reflecting body heat back up to me, while camping out in 40 degree weather. Anyone who has hammock camped during those temperatures know that the wind has an extreme chilling effect. This reflective blanket did its job. I found myself a little too warm with it and had to sleep outside of my sleeping bag.The tarp feels heavy duty and could be used on the ground as well. Good heat reflective properties were felt when I wrapped myself in it, within 5 seconds.

Good buy for the price.
Generally speaking these are a good buy for the price. Only down side I found are the gourmets. They are light weight and just about 1/2 of them are stamped offset, so I fear they won't last many seasons. I'm prepared to put new ones over the existing.

Good product. Works well for my application. Would likely work well for intended applications.
The blanket arrived ahead of the projected delivery date and presented as described in the product description. I am using it in an atypical manner i.e. combining it with a welding blanket to deflect the heat from my garage heater away from my pickup truck. It works well in that application i.e. the truck surface remains cool regardless of how long the heater is blowing heat over it. This was not the case when I used the welding blanket without the reflective blanket. I've given it four stars solely because the polyester backing (red material) is stiff and difficult to fold, at least initially. This may change with use/wear, however. I do believe the backing would be relatively moisture proof and clearly the reflective surface on the interior of the blanket works well.

very heavy duty , can turn into a tent if need be
bought for a gift, they loved it, a bit stiff, but they are sure with use it will be easily folded, they liked that it comes with pegs and can be made into a small shelter if needed ,
