Read the instructions
This isn’t the shilling ground pepper your grandmother used, this is a whole different pepper! I read that really high quality pepper is very good for you: anti-inflammatory and other good stuff. You need to take good care of it; keep it cool, out of the light and tightly sealed. If you do that and grind it fresh- oh yeah, you have a whole new pepper ! Its a whole new thing!

Kampot Pepper Corns
Though a lil spendy for good quality pepper there are no added toxins used in preserving this pepper. Its 100% Organic just like all food should be. Thx for having quality items available to U.S. consumers.

Good Pepper, But Expensive
I like pepper. I've shopped around over many years trying to make sure I had good pepper and a good pepper mill to grind it in. This Cambodian pepper has glowing reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try.It is about four times as expensive as the pepper I usually buy. And after a little experimentation, it tastes roughly the same to me. The smell of a bag is definitely better than the smell of my normal pepper, but when it comes to eating it, I can't really tell the difference. And since I think I buy good pepper, and this is roughly the same, that makes this good pepper as well. But the price tag is pretty high for something that doesn't taste better.

Best pepper you'll ever taste. And, you WILL taste it.
It's not the lowest price pepper by a long shot. But, it's the best pepper we've ever tasted or used. Worth every penny.

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE
I ordered this pepper a little over a year ago and have kept it hidden from my wife. She would use this on boxed mashed potatoes, unaware that this is priced like gold. I accidentally spilled some on my floor while putting them in my pepper mill. The 5 second rule was out the window. I picked every last one up and pretended it never happened. With that being said, I use this pepper on very rare and deliberate occasions. It is unlike any other pepper I have ever used. The aroma that hits you as soon as its cracked is life changing and if you weren't into pepper before, this will open a whole new world for you. I have since researched pepper exhaustively and learned lots of things I never new before. Most people never thought of using pepper on desert, well guess what, after some research you are going to want to crack some red peppercorns over vanilla ice cream. And the red peppercorns we see here in the US are actually not peppercorns. They are berry's of another plant family. The real red peppercorns are the ripe end of a life cycle from these Kampot, Cambodia plants. They are much more rare than what most people believe and very difficult to find here in the US.With that being said, I have become excited about Kampot, Cambodia pepper and it all started with an Amazon order from this company. Finding these peppercorns from other companies has proven extremely difficult and unless you want to call some Cambodian Farmer and order 100 Kilos, this Amazon affiliated company is the place to purchase..
